I’m trying to contact Virgin before my cruise this month to confirm but not feeling super confident. Assuming neither have dairy since you seemed okay with them!
I’m so glad you found us and that you’re finding this info helpful! I wish I could tell you they are egg free, but I’m not sure. I was told they were dairy free, and they definitely were a different texture than the bread. One night at dinner (at Test Kitchen) our server went to great lengths to track down gluten free and vegan rolls for us. She said they aren’t used often and were stored somewhere frozen. But with persistence they can find items like that for you! (I’m sorry to say you probably won’t get that kind of information by emailing them in advance. But the staff on board are really helpful!)
Good point! Servers should be able to answer most of these questions without too much trouble, or easily ask. It’s not too much trouble to keep a customer safe.
To those who read this comment and feel belittled for advocating for their needs: you deserve to eat and not get sick. That is not too much to ask. And if you have reactions to certain foods (allergies, celiac, food intolerances) I hope these videos are helpful to you. You’re the whole reason I make CZcams videos. 💙

Generally European countries do have a great understanding of safe allergen and celiac protocols. I’m glad you’ve had a good time traveling there!
