Gleaned so much from your varied ways of making money with your wildlife photos. I'm just one who photographs as a personal passion and I give my photos to people as a gift. I've had many suggest that I should sell my work, so I'm investigating ways to do so and your video is the first I've watched on this subject. I thank you so much for the time and effort you put forth in providing such helpful information. Really glad to have come upon your channel.

If you make a business out of something you love to do, you'll never have to work again. A piece of advice that I'm glad I found years ago

Interesting stuff Moose. I spent just about all of the summer of 2015 ( I was back in corporate then so I literally had no life that summer lol) doing art shows and the outcome was all over the place. Some shows I sold zero, some I broke even after the fees and then others I made $400-$600 net. I agree, I would rather be doing photography than sitting in a cubicle, just wasn't for me. I made good money but was miserable every day! Keep up the videos. I'm learning a lot with wildlife from you and find the other videos very informative, especially since I have been contemplating vanlife since 2015, so your tiny house videos add value. thanks

During the summer months , you should do wildlife tour for kids, talk about stats, bark, animals, etc

I randomly came across this video and watched it. in 1987 I quit my corporate job and went full time with my photography company. I was fortunate to have my wife by my side supporting me. We did it all to include stock which back then paid well, tours, and fine art shows which turned out to be our main income. This was back in the days when there was only a couple of photographers at a show. I phased down the business and retired it in 2018. As I’m sure you know the market today is saturated with photography especially since the age of digital came about. I hope you can find a way to work yourself through the masses and come out on top. Best wishes, Don George.

Moose. What is an example of "traditional" stock photography and how can i learn more about that? Saw your other video about stock photo sites like shutterstock. But didn't realize there were 2 different types. Thanks for being so open about this information. I really appreciate it..

Thank you.when they publish your photo, whether traditional or microsoft, do they give you a photo credit? I watched your other video on stock images, realized i hadn't watched it in entirety. So thanks for that as well as this additional info.

It's sad that you do all the work and stock makes more money than you do, especially the time it takes to travel, cost of equipment, edits, to give it to stock is a rip off.
