- In todays we took the old weak 3hp engine on the Coleman 100cc engine and replace it with 6.5hp engine! We made it fast!

Ive been looking into using polyurethane washers/bushings to sandwich between the motor and mounting plate to eliminate some of the vibration.

So do you have to order a custom mounting plate or it will fit on the stock mounting plate? And if so what bolts do I need
You just need longer bolts the original mounting plate fits fine
the only issue im seeing is the idle on the motor was set a bit to high but other than that this has showed me everything i need to know
Did you use the same clutch as the old motor or did you get a new one?
You need to buy a 3/4 bore clutch because the one on the original is two small.

I recommend to deflat your back tire a couple psi for more grip you will lose a couple mph but it's safer also tighten up that chain a bit

Does the clutch fit without a collar? I can’t seem to find anything saying what size collar I should get

the clutch is a different size. but the chain depending on the new clutch can be used again
What clutch and chain did you use man I got the predator ghost for my ct100u can't find right clutch and chain to fit with stock rear sprocket
I used a number #35 roller chain and a 3/4 bore clutch that was made for the #35 chain. I believe that the rear sprocket is made for a #35 as well. I have some in my description!
Hey man I’ve been researching a lot not sure if you would know but do you think this engine would fit in the realtree 100cc mini bike? It’s almost the same size as this one.
well it probably would but you would have to get a smaller gas tank like i did in the video

Tbh I just took the original bolt to Lowes and looked for one about the same width but longer! I only payed like 3-4 dollars when I had went

Not sure the exact size but I just picked skinny and long ones from lowes they didn't come in like a package I just grabbed a few from the shelves and bought them

Yes. I just swapped mine. Super easy swap. Need a new clutch and to figure out hooking up the throttle… that’s it. And move the gas tank… you can use the Coleman one if you have it on top
Of the predator. Be careful with a 12/60 gear it’s a bit sketchy

Hows the clearance with the pipe is it enough clearance for a torque converter
Probably but if you put a torque converter it would probably cover the foot pedal
A torque converter fine to put on this or does it pop out too much
I haven't seen it so far! But I think that with it there it would be hard to put your foot on the pedal! It might be possible with some modifications.

It is adjustable but you need a skinny flat head to do it

Sorry for being so late but it is a 3/4 bore clutch! They have complete kits I belives on amazon with a clutch and chain for cheap!

I bought a kit like this because it comes with a tool to adjust to the right size not bad! And the extra chain always comes in handy if somethings goes wrong. Where did u run the fuel line for the gas tank
You can barely see it in the thumbnail, but it just running under the seat to the gas hookup!
Hey y’all btw the gas tank does fit in the frame the gas cap does not I ordered a slimmer gas cap and it works great not just little challenging to fill

Get a 3/4 chain 12 Tooth 12/10 (a Tooth 12 is better then 10 and it’ll be better for performance but it’s up to you on what is available for you but get tooth 12)

No, Just make sure the sprocket chain size and clutch chain size are the same!
I got the stock engine on the bike to go 43 I was wondering if the predator would be faster
How you get the stock to go 43? Yeah the predator would still have more torque! But the stock engine is still very reliable it lasted three whole years never stopped once!
@@cartercardona lol I cut the throttle screw, bypassed the governor and some stage 1 mods. But I just recently put the predator on my bike, the thing has way to much torque. I ordered a 48 tooth sprocket, a 10 tooth clutch and a 420 chain. I’ll let you know if that will calm things down.

Well a 212 on a ct100u would be faster because it’s smaller but the Coleman 200u is bigger so if u want faster but can sacrifice size then go for the 100 but if you absolutely need bigger than go for the 200u

Well the tank it kind of big so some guys smash there tanks flat but I got a small one on Amazon for a 8 bucks
So unless you wanna smash your tank i would get a new one

same as old engine, 3500 rpm on output shaft, depends on the gearing you use to the rear wheel. smaller gear reduction = faster but less torque
So to like 50 to 45 but if you got an upgraded carburetor and cookie sprocket it probably go like 60-70

it lasted me ever since I got which is when this video came out but they are so cheap that if it only last two years then can easily get a new one

That engine looks like it has an unbalanced crank. They shaky but that thing looked like it was having a seizure.
Yeah it eventually stopped shaking so bad after I mad some adjustments
