Fixing a Blown Spark Plug on Ford F150

- I have a blown spark plug on my ford f150 with 5.4 Triton engine. I thought my truck was toast until I found a kit from Cal-Van tools that let me fix the blown spark plug on my ford truck. Hopefully you'll never have to deal with a blown spark plug like this, but if you do, I highly recommend the cal-van tools blown spark plug repair kit!

I have to do this on my 5.4 3v. I'm sick to my stomach too about doing it, but it has to be done. Not sure yet why a plug got ejected since Ford "fixed" the issue on the 3v's...the aluminum heads are soft, but still.
Did you figure out what else was wrong? I just had this happen to mine and want to know what else I could be facing. With my luck it's just gonna blow the engine.
Installing the new sleeve fixed the problem. I had to replace another spark plug that was fouled, and it’s been running strong ever since.

The 99 Of Mine Was Gonna Be Scrapped If The Plug Trick Of A New Motor Wouldn’t Work
My Grandpa Said: “Find the blown plug, and try to fix it.” “We have a new engine if that doesn’t work, But if the new engine doesn’t work either, I’ll scrap it.”
After The New Plug And Boot Was Installed, It Just Fired Right Up And Purred!

Only use this kit .don't use the ones from Napa or O'Reilly they will blow out again.
