Man, I think you'd benefit from having a Boss ES-8 or something similar. It's the cheapest looper with router functionality that I know of, and a friend who has one says it's really good. Being able to change pedal order without tearing apart the pedalboard is a dream of mine but I can't really justify the expense these days. Imagine just calling up a patch to put your reverb ahead of your fuzz right in the middle of a song. You can do all kinds of crazy stuff with one of those. Plus it has MIDI to control your Timeline, etc. Great video.
damn, now my goal is to recreate that sound at 9:08! it gave me shivers! just have to build that hell of a size of pedalbboard, i guess) Keep this up, your channel is a huge inspiration to me and to my music/sounds perception! Cheers from Ukraine and be safe, Luca
Great stuff. Are you running all this through headphones or risking getting evicted for noise pollution? Ha! Brilliant. Keep it up P.P. I gotta replicate that set up now it sounds so good! Aural ecstacy!! I'm gonna be skint again soon. Losing all the dough in my bank? Meh. Creating noise like this? Priceless!! ;)
great vid, dude! have you ever tried the zoom ms-50g? there’s this channel called “shoegazer” that did a couple videos on it, and i’m really curious to see what you’d do with it.
pedal partners dang, yeah i was worried it wasn’t gonna be my thing either. the controls don’t look very user friendly and as tweakable as other pedals. not to mention the fact that it’s digital and other pedals sound better. i’ll try it out anyways lol
it takes abit of messing around to get use to but after a few hours its golden, the amount of quality effects on that machine is mental. you should really give it a try
I'm running.cry baby into Distortion into More distortion into Big muff into Blues driver into Chorus into delay into reverb and I got room on my board for 1 more.i thinking Earthquake afterneath.🤔
Hey, I love your videos! Discovered them a couple weeks ago and can’t stop watching! Was wondering what kind of amp are you using? Keep up the great work!!
That’s great. I admire what you and some of the others around here do. I’m getting old and I’ve only been learning/doing music for 2 years. But maybe someday, if I ever finish a song I like, I’ll hit you up for some work. Or maybe I’ll try myself. Thanks. Keep it up.
@@mpstrgc112 ah thanks so much dude. never too old for music! & yes it can be very inspiring creating your own videos, i hope you have fun whatever you do & always feel free to reach out for advice or just to share your work with me :)
3:34 I’m confused about the order here, is it simply: reverb > reverb > tape delay > shimmer to get that effect or is there more to it than that? Like could I recreate the same effect with different pedals or do I have to have most of what’s used there?
Perfect timing, just starting a new board!
awesome :)
Liam McCourt same here!
That was so sweet, I had to go back to #3 a couple of times, it's very Melody's Echo Chamber-ish, and I love it, thanks!
ah thank you, melody is one of my favourite artists, so that's an awesome compliment!
4:00 that sounds like heaven. Amazing!
thank you! i release these kind of sounds through

Soft Focus here, great job as always!

I have multiple pairs of black mono Converse, they're great
i have two black pairs, one white pair & an andy warhol edition. they're the only shoes i like. pedal partners approved | shoegaze proof.

@@Fantomex thank you so much!
great video, looking forward to the next one!

Good demonstration of how sometimes less is more. I have 6 pedals with 2 more on the way.
sometimes all you need is one pedal for a wall of sound *cough* boss bd-2

How do you power your effects? It sounds so crystal clear (when you want it to of course) and you don’t even need a noisegate
Now That's What I Call a Pedalboard! Great content as usual :)
thanks so much dude for your support :)
Inspiring, thanks!
awesome, thank you :)
your channel is so creative
ah thanks, means a lot :)
Oh hey, just in time for my pedal reorganization! :)
perfectly timed ;)
@@pedalpartners I love the sounds from Order 3. Getting some of those Raveonettes vibes that I adore. :)
Good sounds my man!!
thanks dude!

it's been on my radar for some time. tried one a few years ago, but sent it back. saw those videos, they're great!

more distortion = more better. yes, the afterneath would be a great choice!

thanks so much! roland jc-40
2 reminded me of feels by animal collective. iirc deakin uses a similar delay/mod effect on that album
i'll have to check it out, thanks!
I have the Plasma Pedal & cant wait til the new Third Man version comes out in the U.K. Expensive as fuck but super cool.
you seen their new light pedal as well? looks amazing!
YES! Just YES!!!!
thank you thank you
🔥
First again, love your videos, great content!

Hey there! How do you connect your pedal board to your Focusrite? And what d.a.w. you are using? Thanks! Keep it up, man!
i put an intro to how i record things up on patreon.com/pedalpartners. thanks for watching!
BOSS-DD20 it's hard to use,can you make video content about dd-20 pls?
here's my video on the dd-20 czcams.com/video/ks0Lz6FWVRs/video.html

Do you shoot all of your own b-roll/landscape stuff??
yes i do! i also produce music videos if you're ever after one :)

pretty sure you could use many other effects for that
Should reverse reverb come before reverb?
there's no rules! reverse reverb at the front works very well for shoegaze, try experimenting & seeing what sounds best to you :)
Just out of curiosity, how long have ya been building up your pedal board?
5 years or so :)
