Mantronik got jacked as it was taken off King Of The Beats, that sampled Bob James Take Me To The Mardi Gras.
The Rob G version was still produced by Snap, they just didn't use that name. Rob got all hissy about them using his lyrics on the song so they went with Turbo. It's only when the Snap version as we know it went big that Rob G wanted a piece of the pie. From what I've heard and read, the German producers decided to calm him down by releasing his version in America. We didn't hear it in Europe because the release over here was so big that it was the only one that mattered

Nice talk, but who 's this Chill Rob G friend who supposedly produced it? What else he did? As for German producers, they created endless quantity of music under various monikers, many of which were big hits and considered classics to this day. Why is this sound to me like Freedom Williams claim he created C&C Music Factory and wrote "Gonna Make You Sweat"? Smells fishy.
