I don't remember his rating, but yes he clearly knew what he was doing. He played the opening perfectly and then exploited a couple inaccuracies! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating doesn't matter much, as players are often climbing fast as their rating has not reached it's top yet. Dereque is a good player none the less.
