    Great videos, Dereque! Nobody uncovers all the nuances in every position like Dereque Kelley. It's great to learn openings, but it's even better to learn the theory behind the moves in the opening. You're the man! Thanks, and keep putting out these lessons!

    These middle & endgame videos are fantastic complements to your opening videos. This was exactly what I needed after studying openings. Thank you for the excellent lesson! I look forward to an episode on the Najdorf.

      Thank you, thank you, thank you! :) I think the part about the Najdorf is a suggestion? I appreciate the suggestion!

      Yes, it was a suggestion. If you could do a middle & endgame video on the Najdorf, it would certainly help my game. Thanks again!

    Dereque is the happiest guy in chess. It would be amazing to see him furious on one of these videos. Just once.

    Thanks. Precise presentation, like always. Also, your voice is excellent.
    If I may ask, perhaps one day you could try to analyze the Chameleon Variation or the Amsterdam variation of the Sicilian defense.

      Tremendous isn't it! My partner in 2012 lived there! Now the next videos will be done from an even more spectacular view! And yet the first series will definitely be done without video backgrounds at first for a while, then they will be available again with views at some point I hope! One step at a time! Thank you for the kind words!

    Why wouldn't he take the pawn at e4 after white castle

    Really love these strategic lectures on various games and opening positions. May I ask what city you're in? Ive always wondered about the background in your videos.

    Even though I've never touched the Ruy in all my life, this is really insightful, Dereque. God bless. >:)
    Any chance of making a video on the middlegame and endgames of some common variations in the English Defence in the future? (Maybe the symmetric or the e5 English?)

    Thank you, Dereque, for another very well explained video.In 21:13, after d6 I think Short could move Rf1+ saving the rook, following with Re1 gaining the pawn. Am I wrong? Probably the game was lost anyway.

    • @KebuChess
      @KebuChess  Před 7 lety

      Right! What AndreasIreland is saying is true, but it would been helpful had I mentioned it, great question!! :)

    chess these days seems like who can memorize the most computer moves not human vs human although im low level palyer so it still is human vs human.

    • @KebuChess
      @KebuChess  Před 7 lety

      That is not my experience or that of my private students! If you are willing to work at learning openings and memorizing as you're speaking of, you'll likely find that you go very far very quickly! :)
