1:35:00 I find Lithomancy is actually pretty helpful for exploration; you use it to leave little hollering signposts marking where you've been. Each object screams a little different, so if you've got a good memory for noises you can recognize them through walls and doors, use em to get un-lost when the map's turned into some bullshit gordian knot of a maze on you.
What mic does pat use? Looks like an AKG from the body shape but he always has the badge pointed away so idk... I've got an SM7b, looking to get maybe an Electro-Voice or something as my second "talking" mic for my fiance but idk pats sounds pretty good especially compared to the 2BFP days. Iirc wasn't it the game grumps that helped them up their audio game anyway?
Hey, I'm glad more folks're catching on to this game, it fucking rocks. Honestly didn't think I'd enjoy anything remotely like Kingsfield, but here I am.
I don't get it, when the game is pixel art people love it, oh so pseudo-retro, when it is with CRT smearing - even better, ps1 or boomer shooter - people love it. But when people see Stranger of Paradise they go ew ps3 era graphics, so ugly, instead of - oh cool, a ps3 style!
Many PS3 games wanted to emulate movies and real-life, and in their attempt to do so, looked kinda muddy and gross. While earlier console generations have games like this, you also have alternative art styles be more prominent, like the one Lunacid is attempting to emulate.

currently there are a lot of fake ps1 games, but i dont think pat would want to play them because they are all horror games.
