Those words stir up an unreasonable amount of rage in me, as someone who has never played that game before.
I love how impatience was Michael's downfall but it's understandable. Starting from the beginning over and over again after making it so far is defeating...and also...rage inducing.

Destiny 2 raid had Michael be the only sane man in the room while literally everyone else was yelling and bitching at one another.

Fun tip for anyone playing this level themselves, when you reach the Glydon(the flying lizard dude), if you ride the first air tornado to the max height, and shake your controllers the Glydon maintains the higher altitude and you travel way farther. You can glide over the warp pipe gap, and if you're really lucky the bowser painting building as well. There is even a small easter egg surprise on the roof, and then you can jump off the far side to finish the level off..
I hope you both continue to make videos together! Nothin better than watchin Gav and Mikey playin together no matter what game it is.

When i played this, if you shake the controller while gliding as that flying guy, i was able to go all the way to the end past the pipe. I had no idea there was that part through the pipe LOL.

I used 0 updrafts for the flying lizard part. Once you start flying, start shaking the controller. He glides farther.
I'm definitely wanting to see a part 2 in this, for sure.
I played this one level for so long learning every single bit of it. Michael found health I didn't know existed, and got to the fog so much faster than I ever did. Shows the difference of skill levels lol

my 9 year old son, can beat this game in like 6 hours now.....he constantly replays it, trying different ways to beat it (no death, no coins, etc.) crazy
I want so badly for Michael to beat this level 😆 It took me probably at least 50 tries to finish the Darkest Side of the Moon, and Michael made some awesome progress for not having known a bunch of the mechanics

The best part is, everything past the gliding guy can be skipped. They dont tell you about it but if you shake the controller while possessing him, you can fly up and make it all the way to the Bowser and Peach painting. Still though, the feeling of beating it legit is great.

Completely different topic, but I would just like to share that, because I don't play games that often, I hadn't finished the DLC stuff from Zelda BotW yet, and I found the middle sword trials very hard the other times I attempted it, but today I did it first try, so I was very happy.
Rachelle the master trials were a biiiiitch and a half until I remembered a crucial game mechanic that helped me fully finish the trials :)

The level was really hard.....but not so hard that you want to snap your own neck from the rage.
It took me two hours....and my thought while playing it over and over was, "It's still not harder than Kaiser Knuckle's General."
Michael contained his initial rage at the end so well im proud

This reminds me a lot of that secret puzzle dungeon in FFXV. Shit took me like 8 hours to beat, once I finally did, my game crashed and it didn’t checkpoint me at the end so I lost it all and had to re do everything. Didn’t touch the game for a week.
Cameron domes I beat it in about 4 hours, but the same thing happened to me, the game crashed as I was flying out of there. Pissed me off so much.

Yeah, I value my Switch and/or pro controller being in one piece to subject myself to this level.
There was one mini ice level, where you had to run across icy water with those speed flowers, it took the best part of an afternoon of me swearing at my TV to finish it.

It took me 3 hours to finish this damn level. The thing that kept throwing me off were the Pokio jumps near the end.
That ending couldn’t have been any better.

I wonder about the first game Michael ever rage quit. I got so mad when I was 12 years old I threw the controller as hard as I could at the TV. I was playing the slide during the second level of DK64.

Impressive progress for one hour playtime. Especially without knowing many of the mechanics and using a pro controller. This basically robs you many of the more useful advanced hat techniques.
Reminds me of the old school rage quit...I think we need a family generation virsion of rage quit where Micheal, Linsey and iris eventually do an episode together.

Michael is his own downfall. It's frustrating to see that he loses health because he is so damn impatient (like with the lizard getting boosts) and ironically ends up spending more time and getting more angry and more impatient
Fuck me, I remember this. Such an annoying and difficult level. DId feel pretty good to find the hidden hearts, though. And finally beating it was such a massive relief. All in all, it's a good reward for the people that have done everything else.
I'm surprised that Michael didn't even beat the normal part of the game yet.
They should try this in 2 player with Michael as Mario and Gavin as Cappy.
