Rich. Very nice flight from grass. Hopefully you can zero in on the gear and find the issue with the intermittent operation on your bird. I understand new models, sometimes you have to tweak a bit to work the little bugs out. 👍👍😉

Hey Rich on the PNP L39 did you have to put tape where the thrust tube joins the fan unit?
Gee what a surprise , gear issues on an AFModel……..I have hade a few issues myself. There are a few quality issues. I wish Freewing would make a 105mm and a 120mm model. I have the HSD 120mm T-33. Not a comfortable experience. And it’s a battery eater.

The wheels look a bit small for grass in relation to the size of the model even though they are probably scale in relation to the full size plane

Very similar in flight performance! The L-39 is a bit smoother and graceful, where the MB-339 is a bit more maneuverable and nimble, it feels more like a fighter. You will not go wrong either way. If you get one, please use my link as it supports the channel. Thanks for the support!

How much do you think is needed to take off and land a big plane like this on grass and paved runways?
my takeoff roll on the grass was probably 200 to 300ft

Hi mr rich,i have a stripped fan mounting hole on my 105mm L39.Could you tell me sir how to fix that problem? Thank You
Do you mean one of the 4 holes you secure the fan with?
@@RCINFORMER Yes sir the changesun fan only has 1 mounting hole on each side so had to fight with a screw that i stripped out and as a result the hole became a little larger.
@@RCINFORMER Yes sir,the changesun fan has only 1 mounting hole on each side of it.After fighting to remove a stripped screw the hole in the wood mount became larger! What would you recommend to put in the hole so my screw can fit tight again. Thank You sir
