I love science that repeats previous findings....thats how the scientific method works. The conclusion to draw here is that seedlings need soluble N.
Agree, but "available" rather than "soluble," actually. If the soil had organic compounds, biology and time, the availability might be the same. Still, proper additions of some soluble/available makes things a bit easier sometimes. Cheers!
@@jeffclarke5497 Soluble *IS* available. Plants can't take up insoluble compounds via their roots. They need aqueous ionic solutions.
Love these studies. Thanks!
Thank you!
Excellent study!
Thank you!
50% peat and 50% compost is a great seed starting mix
Thanks for the insight! We may add this mixture to a future test.
What are those light bulbs? Do they replicate sunlight? If so, where are they available for purchase? Thanks…
any potting mix i get i always flush it from all nutrients then add my own so i know they getting everything.
Just because there's good above ground leafy growth does not mean it's the best potting mix, the best potting mix to me would be the one with the diverse rooting system, this is not a good test.
Nah this is fine. What matters is above ground, not below ground. We're not testing root growth, were testing plant growth
but your just promoting a mix that has the most salt nutrients... This channel is bogus
We are certainly not promoting any one mix. We are simply reporting our findings. Thank you for the engagement!
