They should setup the first round differently. Make only one pair of guy and girl enter a room at a given time. Guys don't have visibility of the whole set of girls and girls don't have the visibility of the whole set of guys in line. They can only see one at a time. Also they will not know which girl/guy rejected who. Kinda converts it into a variant of the 'secretary problem'. And we will see which side rejects the most, as they will never know if they will get a better match. And also we will get to see the different optimal stopping strategies played by them.
