@Kydrou first character I built in 2006 for ddo was 9 cleric 1 fighter. I know the feeling all to well.
As a combat favored soul, heal yourself if I notice I will throw you one though 😂
Sonic Bard was my first DDO character, I still play today as my main character. Back in the day it was the gear you needed like El Kabong guitar or Hammer of Leaden Clouds.
I'm glad to have inspired you a bit. But hey, if you want another idea, 5 sorc Stormsinger sonic build is something I've been doing on a scoundrel. Very bursty, the sorc levels for even more caster levels
Somewhat unrelated: if you go into that tarpits quest in the isle of dread, jump into that hole with the 3 skeletons, ranged attacks do not register unless your at the top of a jump.
They dont work just standing on the ground.

Drow 2 Rogue, 17 Wizard, 1 warrior. Repeating Heavy Crossbows in combination with Eldritch Knight Imbue Dice + 3 Imbue Dice from Rogue assasin Toxin Affinity +2 from Drow... and + 5 from a wizard + you can put Flame Arrow spell on your bolts + all good stuff from Feydark Illusionist + damage from int from Harper Agent tree. + Knight's Controller:+2 Enchantment DCs, +2 Illusion DCs, +4 Spell Penetration. + you can use Heavy armour and cast spells +15 Arcane Fluidity from Drow and enother +15 friom eldrich knight. Traveler's Toughness + 15hp and +15 more hp from eldrich knight making it extrimly tough. Heal from Pale Master Shroud of the Wraith +1 Sneak Attack Die. + all the good stuff from Shadow Dancer tree. You don't have to use any Shadowblades for damage on tresh mobs but you can cast shadow blade imbue on your Crossbow. You can just shot all. + you can still take nodes for force damage for ruin. Such build can allow you to be extremely strong at armor and hp, depend little on mana on trash, while having maximum wizard spells on ruin and being a rogue at the same time.

Just don't like kd and damage on shadow blades but i like an idia on your dream rogue wizard build. And i thoght what if i use Eldritch Knight susteinability and imbue Dice x3+Repeating Heavy Crossbows damage and for +2 Illusion DCs instead of Augment Summoning way. Relocating some nodes from Feydark Illusionist in to Eldritch Knight.
Looks like it would be great if the build was not bugged. Would do it next life if they fixed it. I would assume you submitted the bug so maybe 2026
But we can hope for early 2026 vs late 2026!
Anyone else expect "not so much a stroke of genius " to finish with "more like just a stroke"? 😅
Love the DDO videos! I do wonder though, how does Eldritch Blast work while Shapeshifted (Wolf OR Bear Form)? I don't wanna try it without knowing it's at least possible. I know in a past forum/reddit post somewhere you mentioned something about Bearlock so I thought I'd ask.

Yes it does! This is the basis for the classic Bearlock build! There is no official write up, but it's not hard to use your imagination and go wild

You want go spellpower lightning repeating crossbows? take my build:
15 art, 3 wiz, 2 rogue // tier 5 archanotech, tier 4 BE, ek core2(for spellword lightning 1d8)
forget physical damage, u only stacking imbue dices and spellpower, doubleshot, spellcrit and dc
ARchtech = runearm strips lightning imunne
Aoe damage with runearm, good single target with crossbow
YE just forget physical damage, weapon crit or whatever (you just look for imbues and triggers like sovereign lightning and iod gear)
Right but..... does it make a barrage of LIGHTNING BOLTS smite the enemies? No? Then the ^^^ build up there clearly beats yours if ^^^ is what we're after. ;-)
Which skin is that you are using?
How did you get the Tier 5 Talents if you split off 1 level into both FvS and Art?
Tier 5 requires 12 levels of a class, not 20.
@@Strimtom I thought multi-class characters couldn't get the Capstone ability... that must be different for non-class enhancements like Inquisitive huh?
Hi, I used the build, it's very good, but there's a mistake, you can't use the rune, because according to the DDO wiki, the necessary feat is only granted at level 2 artificir. What do you think?
You get rune arm use from epics. Once you reach level 20 you can get rune arm use from the Machrotech epic destiny
