Gale does seem like he'd be really bad at decapitating a corpse, ngl

How do you get this scene? Whenever I loot the corps I just get Nere´s inventory, head included. This scene doesn´t start for me somehow.

To make sure I didn't succeed on the roll, I heavyly overencumbered Gale, which caused the roll to fail and triggered this scene.

@@Kat-xf3cs Thanks for answering. Question about the roll: when do you have to roll? I am not be able to roll when I loot the body. I just get the inventory and then a cutscene with the pixie lamp. So do I have to pick up just the head from the inventory at first?

Pick a character with low strength. The roll occurs right after the fight against Nere when you click on his body to loot the head. If you are heavily encumbered, you automatically have a penalty on the roll, so the probability is higher that the roll will fail, which is exactly what we want in order to trigger this scene. That's why it's important to really heavily overencumber a character (with low strength) BEFORE looting. I hope I could help you a bit. :)

@@Kat-xf3cs Well, yeah, no, unfortunately. I understand your explanation about failing the roll so you struggle in decapitating Nere, but: I don´t get the chance to roll. When I click on Nere I get his inventory list. When I click on "pick up all" I just get his inventory including his head, no roll chance, no cutscene with the decapitation. I just get the cutscene with the pixie lamp.
So my question here is: when you click on his inventory: do you just click on the head first to get the chance to roll to get the head?
I hope I don't get on your nerves with my questions and my persistence, if that's the case, just stop answering! I can understand that!

@@alexakry2239 i've noticed that you don't get the decapitation scene when his body is altered by magic. my druid killed him with moonbeam so his body was charred from radiant damage. as a result, his head was just in his inventory.
