  • Freakydude99 is back with one of my deadliest builds to date, this monster of a Strand Titan can survive onslaughts of damage in the highest level content like Grandmaster Nightfalls and Maser Dungeons. With Season of the Wish going steady this is a perfect build to finish Guardian Games with.

I absolutely love the precious scars helmet, I've had a lot of fun running it on a full solar build with sunshot and sometimes even tommys matchbook, helps a lot with that self damage that AR has.

That sounds amazing, Tommy's is so underrated and that is just a perfect combo.

The catalyst for buried bloodline provides weaken so you can choose a different heavy, perhaps the new brave version of edge transit with envious assassin and bait and switch.

That's a perfect option, this build really let's you use some different weapons without compromising damage or survivability.

While I absolutely love the changes they made to Precious Scars, I can’t help but feel sad too. Because for the longest time before said changes, Phoenix Cradle was the go-to Titan Support Exotic. I got a lot of enjoyment being that kind of, In your face kicking your ass while helping my teammates, sort of play style. I even farmed for the newest iteration of the Jurassic Green for my Phoenix Sol Invictus/Consecration build because at the time, it was the only weapon that I could get Heal Clip/Incan on. And now after the PS changes, it wholly and entirely replaces the Cradle and is better at everything it does. Because with it, teammates won’t have to be glued to your hip for heals, as well as the heal mechanism was made infinitely easier because now all you have to do is get one kill at range with a weapon. For the Cradle, you had to maintain Sunspots meaning you were constantly starting and stopping during combat making sure to have at least one Sunspot for team heals.
All this to say, I really like the changes they did to PS. But I also hope that they revisit the Cradle and change it to make it feel unique again, so it isn’t over shadowed by PS like it is now.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I feel like they could make Phoenix Cradle work if they did something where allies were able to spawn sunspots. That would make it more focused into Solar while Precious Scars is more all around.
Its nice how were getting more reworks and changes, hoping Into the Light brings some.

I've thought about doing this as soon as Buried Bloodline came out but I'm a Warlock main and I have nearly zero of anything on Titan so I haven't actually gotten to do it

Any idea of what Warlock Exotic Armor to pair it with, im always looking for inspiration.

@@FD99 A few different ways you can go with it. Playing with BB on Voidwalker isn't totally necessary since you can get easy access to both devour and weaken but it has solid ammo economy so it's fine to run with Nezarec on any subclass if you use a different secondary to take out majors/bosses after weakening them. Other light classes suffer with no matching weapon so it isn't great to run it on them.
I think it shines the most on Stasis and Strand and at this point I never take it off either. Verity's, Osmiomancy, Swarmers. Proc Devour, then use a Demo primary (or even secondary. I use Appetence on Stasis) that matches the subclass. Lots of grenade energy. I've been using Wrathweavers a lot and I still rarely don't have a nade when I want one as long as I keep Devour and Whisper of Shards up.

All personal choice, i've had a lot of fun with it this season but you can def go some other options for Strand Titan depending on playstyle.
