Due to the panel. While I love Kenyon when he is there its like people are afraid or nervous. The dude from Miami Heat brings an articulation that others on this show (besides Agent Zero) do not add. With Kenyon there is a lot of dead air. When he called Gilbert a Muther F**&^er when debating the olympics I thought that should have been it for Kenyon. It was so low and unprofessional it crossed all lines. While they still ignored the segment animation and the poor host who can't control the show well, this was one of the best segments.

There should be some type of point system for the HOF. For example:
You need 50 points to get in the HOF
MVP = 5 pts
Ring = 4 pts
Finals MVP = 3 pts
All NBA = 2 pts
All Star = 1 pt
All Defense = 1 pt
All time stat record = 7 pts
I’m just throwing numbers out there, but I think that would make the selections more objective rather than it being based on just how the voters feel

Blake was on a HOF trajectory his first five seasons then his body broke down and he was no longer as explosive. But from his 2010-2015 he was legit elite. I think he even finished 3rd in MVP voting behind KD/LBJ in 2014.

I think you should get points for top 3 in MVP and you should get points for getting to the finals. There's some elite guys that were just not fortunate enough to be named lebron, Kobe or MJ. Guys like CP3, Westbrook, Harden, Kawhi, embiid, are like silver tier but due to being in the bron/KD Era they don't have the proper accolades to even beat out guys like Steve Nash who they're way better than.

Norris Cole. I usually agree w you but you said AI bumps up to silver because he had four scoring titles and one mvp but Isaiah Thomas got a finals mvp and two rings. Can’t expect every great player to get an mvp. Tatum just averaged 30, 8, 4 on 64% Ts. Last season Essentially the same stats as SGA this season…and he wasn’t even considered for mvp because he had to face Giannis Jokic mvp Luka in that race

Giannis won 2 MVPs before he even turned 26. Only Kareem and Lebron have done that. He got a ring without having to jump ship on his team and got the Finals MVP. He’s consistently top 10 in points and rebounds every year if not top 5, while also being a top tier defender. He’s so dominant it’s under appreciated now because it’s common place.

Rose gold is for guys who's play might warrant a gold HOF spot, but they don't have the championships or MVPs to back it up. Like KD pre and post golden state is rose gold, never won a chip but is head and shoulders better than everyone not named lebron and bird. I got Jokic there cause he doesn't have the longevity yet. He's got the same 2 mvps, finals MVP, and chip like giannis but in my head giannis has been a great for a tad bit longer, also the PF position a lil weak so I had to boost giannis to make the list look better.

In 5-10 years, all NBA players will care way more about their own stats/awards more than winning... You can even see some of it today. Certain players are fine with losing on the biggest stage as long as they meet/beat their stat line just for their next contract or to avoid getting bashed by the media. Can't blame them, but the hunger to win and hunger for competition will exit the NBA sooner than later.

The HOF does not equal an absolute ranking of the best players to have played. Its the pioneers and tastemakers (the people you couldnt tell the history of basketball without).

He single-handedly turned the clippers into a real team from his rookie season onwards, there would be no kawhi, pg13, probably no new stadium being built if they hadn’t drafted Griffin. Even if they had the foresight to draft curry(which no one would’ve #1 overall at the time) curry still would’ve taken too long to come into his own to stave off being mangled by the clippers ineptitude
