    It's good to see you in a new place and with new video making devices. Last time I saw you explaining "get+ past participle". Your videos about preposition "for" was very useful and understable. Keep teaching us We all appreciate your work!

    I have everything but the ketchup. We can also say it in russian. But that would be so informal and most situations when you will be going to use it in only conversation with your friends.
    У меня есть все, но кетчуп...
    It's important to leave there three dots in writing while speaking we would show it with our emotions

    • @elenachudakova2234
      @elenachudakova2234 Před 2 měsíci

      Вы не правы. I have everything but the ketchup переводится - У меня есть всё, кроме кетчупа (У меня есть всё, но нет кетчупа). В начале видео Паул объяснил это, но Вы не поняли сути. Everything was good but the salad. (Всё было хорошо, но не салат /кроме салата/). То есть but = НО НЕ в такого рода предложениях.

    I dont understand second chapter. In first example,
    "Everything was good BUT NOT the salad." BUT is prep
    "Everything was good , BUT the salad wasn't." BUT is conjunction and we should put coma there
    In second example,
    "She has everything BUT her shoes." BUT is prep
    "She has everything , BUT NOT her shoes." Should be coma or not? Is it prep or conjunction???
    "She has everything , BUT she doesn't have her shoes." BUT is conjunction and we should put come there.
    Thnks your answers.
