One of my favorite Christmas songs ever. My Dad, my Mom and my sister all moved to heaven in different years but all during Christmas.
I sometimes too break down but I hang on to the hope that I will see them again one day.

Yes, my grandmother died a few days before Christmas and my father died on December 14th, so I'm with you on this. It's a very difficult time mixed with blessings at the same time...
She went hiking in the woods and didn't return. They found her several weeks later, she apparently had fallen off a trail or was caught in a rock slide.

This may seem weird, but that is the beauty of pain - the ability to come alongside someone that is entering that kind of chapter in their lives. You have much to offer in helping others. I getcha. One of the things that shows me God's handywork has always been the presence of life. You can't make non-life life. If you think about going back as far as you can imagine in time, there comes a point where you have to reconcile how life was able to not only begin, but to reproduce itself perfectly from the moment life arrived, and then have to believe that all of the complexity of life we see today just "happened". It takes a bit more faith for me to believe that, but I getcha. I was in your exact place once. Hope you have a wonderful New Years tomorrow! Sorry for the delay as I've been resting up : )
