People wonder why he wins every year. The reason is that every other contender may come in with bigger stage props or even a better or bigger song, but the key component in stage performances is conveying the emotion and energy in person, that the listener gets when they hear the song - and he does that very well.
I watched it on CZcams and I enjoyed it so much and I also like the mic drop song testing testing, that one is sweet also 👏🏾👏🏾❤️

@@D4SH19 soca monarch or calypso monarch or whatever competition judges majority of the time look for crowd appeal and response to score marks along with presentation .....but the actual fact is a videoman needs to show the performer most of the time and crowd and performance for different angles

The government has allowed the carnival to take place, when the islands have all suffered devastion with hurricane Beryl. Shame on them and the people who decided to go along who are these people really. DISGRACEFUL 🙏 for all the islands who have lost EVERYTHING ❤🙏
@@valcinablooms804 You and the poster above you need to CALM DOWN. A lot of preparations went into carnival with lots of visitors going into SVG for the festivities. They are just trying to salvage something to help the economy and at the same time, boost people's spirits. A lot of people from the islands affected in the Grenadines were evacuated to the mainland, so some of them might even be there. The government is doing everything possible to help the people who have had their lives destroyed, but guess what, life goes on. I'm sure a lot of the people partying have not forgotten their fellow Vincies, so please STOP with the hyperbolic outrage.

@@valcinablooms804 Carnival is on MAINLAND. The Grenadines islands of Union Island, Mayreau, Canaoun received the most hit. A lot of the organizers are raising funds and products for the people who were displaced.
