I have stayed there 3 times now for the rally and I`m heading there in 4 days and staying for 3 days from Portland, Oregon

i have stayed there for 5 years love the camp ground, food is good and showers are great. 300 for a hotel rooms , you go to custer sd found room cheaper there only 60 mile ride,

Thank you Bob & Tam for doing the different campground reviews in the Sturgis area!! It was nice to see the difference between where we always stay in Spearfish. That looks like a nice campground, however we really like the shade we have at Chris's Campground. Makes a world of difference inside the motor home!! Thanks and keep doing these great videos!!!

My wife and I really enjoyed Katmandu, it was our first time there. My wife has already put our deposit down for next year. It was her first time and she loved it. You guys have done a great job showing attractions around the area. Hope to see you guys next year. Be Safe.

We've stayed there 4 times.
We like it but, tbey put everyone so close we couldn't put one of our slides out.
We are now at Elkhorn Ridge with lots of room.
We are 70 ft. lo g with the motorcoach and enclosed trailer.

Recommendations on where to stay we are first time Sturgis goers we have a jeep wrangler and an 8 foot trailer for the bike once we get there we were planning on unloading the bike and sleeping in the 8 foot bike trailer but we’ve been looking around and everyone’s trying to get us for a RV spot thanks in advance
Call Katmandu tell them we told you to call. Tell them you want no hookups....clean showers and toilets. Glencoe but each will have to buy wrist band....We also no some boondocking acreage by Chip water on land only $500 whole rally...Kickstands is another to try
If I ever have a wife I hope she's as happy as your wife she's always smiling all the time

Is there any camp grounds that are opened all the time
Yes Kickstand campground open year round
Chris's Campground in Spearfish is open all summer long. Great place to stay. Have been staying there for many years now. Lanna loves all her camper families that come in. They also have two swimming pools and lots of showers and laundry and verrrrry clean!!!
