Personally, I think a cool way to incorporate the egg guardian and time travel without changing the end outcome is to make the mystery villain/fortune teller from the future as well. Maybe from a future where the egg succeeded in changing the future, and they prevent the egg from succeeding. Also, we could end up playing as them to prevent the egg from succeeding.
Maybe if they came from the future they came from the timeline of botw 2? Like maybe if they time travelled to aoc then this game is setting up the villain for botw 2 idk
What I think is going to happen is that they are going to give us two routes, one where the egg succeeds at helping everyone (non-cannon) and one where the mysterious villain win (cannon), some of the warriors and dynasty games have routes (usually)... I hope that this is one of them

I really like the game (demo) it's fun and interesting, but I'm sure it will leave a lot of people unsatisfied (if the developers go for a "happy ending" and nothing more).
I was thinking that they make Ganon and the blights unbeatable bosses so champions will fall and so on, but I also wanna play as Zelda with her sealing power and we get to fight Ganon off and seal him away for 100 years. That’s what I hope they do. EDIT: (But not a unbeatable boss they just like unleash a powerful blast or moves that kill them)

My theory is that since what the king says directly translates to "the new future of hyrule", (ハイラルの新たな未来), we could see some kind of discontinuation of the reasearch of ancient technology to combat the advantage the calamity had, but thats highly unlikely as we see ingame footage of the player controlling the divine beasts.

The good one where Ganon is slain with everyone still alive, and the other I will not mention as its a spoiler because it'll DEFINITELY involve datamined characters. If you see the datamined characters for yourself, you can easily figure out what the "true" ending is. I'm calling it right now, the game's story progression will be set up like Warriors Orochi 3. After a certain point, you can go straight to the "final" missions. Kind of like how Breath of the Wild worked

Ok here’s a fun fact in the book creating a champion I believe it said somewhere there original idea for the giant columns were that guardians would come out of them and I just noticed a guardian was coming out of a piller in the trailer.
It's odd they're still using the footage from one of the earliest trailers where the Moblin runs up in Hyrule field and knocks aside the Bokoblins with a club. That doesn't happen in the demo, so it seems that intro was changed.
