A fast and fun run through the removal of the bonnet, engine and gearbox from the '67 E-Type coupe with the benefit of no mansplaining! All in exactly 5 minutes.
The amazing thing about this video is that It shows you exactly where everything is located,. So much better than flipping thru the manual and getting the pages greasy. Thank you guys for making the video. Paul
Yes that’s the way I’d probably have preferred to do it but I don’t have a vehicle lift in this part of my workshop so lifting the engine out was the only way.
Hi, the water pump pulley did not come off. Also, there is no room to get a puller in to pull it off properly. Any recommendations? Can I disconnect the engine mounts and raise the engine from the oil pan? Then I could get a puller in place.
I would try and avoid lifting the engine. Is it possible to get some heat on the studs? Probably a bit of corrosion between then and the casting. Penetrating fluid and time will also help
@@fossewayclassiccarworkshop I lifted it gently, but not from the oil pan. I lifted it from the head bolts. Thanks for the reply. I'll let you know how it works out.

I Found it much easier to drop the engine and lift the body over it

@@fossewayclassiccarworkshop It worked. Just a small tension from the puller and it popped right off.
