  • The Bosch GLM120c, GLM400c, and GLM50-27c devices often do not show their names in the list of Bluetooth devices. Hence, you will have to select it by its Bluetooth address. You can find the devices's Bluetooth address in the device info as shown in the video.
You will also have to select the Bluetooth protocol manually for these devices in the ImageMeter settings.

Hi @DirkFarin, Is there a combination of laser measure and tablet that you would recommend for doing a measured survey with ImageMeter?
    Many thanks

Hi, in my opinion, the GLM50-27c works nice except the nuisance with the manual coupling. It also doesn't have the issue of the GLM120c that you have to turn on Bluetooth deep in the menu each time you switch it on. You can find a list of supported lasers and their quirks here: imagemeter.com/manual/bluetooth/devices/ Many of the current lasers do not transmit angles and areas anymore. If you need that, you'll probably have to take an older model (which also just work fine, btw).

@@DirkFarin Many thanks for your reply, it is much appreciated. Are there any tablets that you consider work better with your software (eg Samsung/Lenovo/Huawei/Xiaomi etc)?
Currently using a leica laser measure with pencil & paper to do measured surveys, so looking forward to trying ImageMeter as a step forward and am keen to get the hardware right as well as the software.

@@aesopshair6690 ImageMeter should work fine with all tablets. On Huawei, you might not have access to the Google PlayStore, so that will be a minus. With Samsung you are probably on the safe side because they are widely used and I also use them for testing.
