    Great video! I'm loving my Shine XL. It's so easy to clean. It's true that the pulp is wetter and the amount of juice produced is lower than with most juicers. I think this is the reason why the Shine XL will last for many years. If the juicer squeezed more juice from the pulp, higher stresses would be put on the motor and all of the plastic parts, which would increase the likelihood of it breaking.

    Thank you John for all the great work you put into these videos. About to start juicing and had being watch a few of your videos. All very helpful in selecting the right juicer for a beginner. Didn’t want to invest too much but wanted good quality product to start. The XL shine seems to be the one for me. Purchased it right away and felt good about it. Will keep watch for all the great info you put out. Thank you.

    Can you do a video comparing shine XL and shine SJV-107? Your the only one that can compare the 2 and provide honest comparison. I’m really on the fence on the two. I know I’m buying a shine just can’t decide between the two. I juice once a day about 2-3 cups.

    Thanks for all your videos, I learned quite a bit from them. I am looking to buy a new juicer and can't decide if I should buy this Shine Juicer or VSJ843 Juicer, J2 is a little too expensive for me. I am looking for a quality vertical juicer that is not overly expensive since I only use it occasionally.

    • @oceanegele3559
      @oceanegele3559 Před rokem

      If you just juice occasionally this would be the cheaper option. The VSJ843 would be for more serious juicing and is a great sturdy juicer.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Před rokem +4

      It means that you should only use the juicer a maximum of 20 minutes. Then you need to turn the machine off and let is cool down for maybe 30-60 minutes before using it again, or it may overheat and cause motor issues. This is a light-duty juicer not meant for large volumes.

  • @truthinentertainment1028

    If price isn't an issue, do you think the Hurom 310 might be a better, compact juicer? Will you be doing a comparison? As far as I can tell, I think I would like it better because it's almost like a mini Nama J2. It has a hopper, a dial on the front of the machine and the juice and pulp spouts are on opposite sides/further apart on the bowl.
    I understand you did a review of the bigger 300 unit and showed the flimsy and/or delicate inside of the auger. But I think if someone treats it with care when assembling/disassembling and storing, then that would solve the only real problem (besides price) and be a better experience, imo.
    Truth be told, though, I think there really should be a compact Nama J2.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Před rokem +1

      I am not aware this item is available in Australia at this time. You would need to contact the tribest distributor in Australia. That being said if you did order from the USA the shipping would be $160 USD additional to ship the 2 units to Australia. Plus you will not have a warranty if you don't order it from the Tribest Distributor in Australia. If you wish to forego the warranty and dont mind the shipping, contact me at www.discountjuicers.com/help.html and I may be able to help further.
