Annihilator is underrated. They were the most talented of that era IMO. Definitely most creative in the genre.

100% agree! When me and my friends first heard this album in high school, it blew our minds! 🤯 funny thing is one of my buddies actually ended up playing bass for Annihilator years later. My buddy's name is Cam Dickson.
Dang! I remember watching this on Headbangers Ball on Mtv back in the day.
Followed by Helloween I want out
No you did it wrong. You need to listen to crystal ann/alison hell for the full effect
Yeah that intro is beautiful, just listening to it is powerful!
You do need to react to some Mercyful Fate/King Diamond.
THIS!
This whole album is great from start to end
Addicted to chaos- megadeth
One of the best melody. Masterpiece
I think you will love this one
Sure wish he would it's my favorite song on youthanasia
I am Canadian. I was born on the 70's, grew up in the 80's. Soooooo, Canada's version of MTV was Much Music, this is where I 1st came across this song. Saw the video, loved it. Went out and got the record just for this 1 song.
Please try
Infernal Majesty- none shall defy
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Kreator - Violent revolution
Death - Pull the plug
Forbidden - Twisted into form
Pestilence- Land of tears
I love pull the plug and darkness descends
November 1989, saw Annihilator for the only time In Philadelphia on tour with Testament. Impressive performance, very tight, incredible energy.
FUCK YEAAAAH, Annihilator is so good! The whole "Alice In Hell" album is fantastic
Edit: It reminds me so much of Megadeth, specially the guitar solos and "strange" song structures
Yes, bro!
Randy Rampage, the singer, was bassist in the Canadian hardcore punk band D.O.A. in the later 1970's, and recorded his own album in 1982 before joining Annihilator as a singer. His vocals are quite different in each format, as was his speaking voice. talented man who died recently at age 58. Jeff Waters has been Canada's king of thrash metal for a long time and still going strong. Canada produces a lot of top notch metal musicians but only a few, like Devin Townshend, really get much exposure.
My favourite Annihilator lineup is the Alice in Hell lineup from 1989
Randy Rampage
Jeff Waters
Anthony Greenham/Dave Scott Davis
Wayne Darley
Ray Hartmann
These guys rock! Bought Alice in hell on cassette tape back in the day when it came out..guitarist is phenomenal!
My favourite Annihilator lineup is The Alice In Hell lineup from 1989 with
Randy Rampage
Jeff Waters
Anthony Greenham/Dave Scott Davis
Wayne Darley
Ray Hartmann
This band played all over the Lower Mainland around Vancouver in the mid to late 1980s, I must have seen them perform this song 25-30 times before the album dropped. They're still my favourite thrash band and Jeff Waters will always rule. RIP Randy Rampage.
YEESSSS Annihilatorrr! no one really reacts to them and the few that do don't really love it but i knew you were gonna dig it, definitely give a listen to songs from their first 2 albums, Jeff Waters is a fucking beast
I recommend you to listen to something from Never, Neverland:
The Fun Palace, Imperiled Eyes, Phantasmagoria and the title track are great songs with killer riffs
Absolutely, still my two favourite Annihilator Albums.
Definately. Imperiled eyes is my fave
The 1980's/90's was the very best time for metal. Hands fucking down.
Another great reaction. The whole Alice in Hell album is full of belting songs and to me I'd place it as one of the greatest metal debut albums of all time too.
One of the Best thrash metal band ever! King of the kill!!!!!!!
If you liked this, check out some EVILE. They were/are from the new wave of Thrash, but their lead guitarist got his start transcribing Jeff Waters (Annihilator) guitar parts. Their debut had that old 80s scuzzy production (thanks to Flemming Rasmussen who had produced Metallica on Ride the Lightning thru And Justice For All), and tracks like "Thrasher" and "Armoured Assault" are pure 80s Thrash. On their next album, I'd say they modernized their sound a bit, but "Infected Nations" is a top notch track.
They are so awesome more please
One of my favorite bands ever! True story: Dave Mustaine was so impressed by this album that he contacted the guitar player Jeff Waters and told him he wanted him to play guitar for him in Megadeth. Jeff Waters to this day is still super appreciative that Dave reached out to him but he ultimately turned him down to make Annihilator albums that are still going strong to this day. But you know you're good when you're offered a place in Megadeth.
As for a suggestion: Annihilator - Bloodbath. Didn't even have to think about it. The answer is Bloodbath.
Not blocked video in europe xD But one of my top 3 favorite songs from Annihilator. This might be the best setup they ever had. Singer and every player just work so well together here.
I wanted to recommend this song on that one day thrash metal vs battle.
Other badass bands with mean sounds
Exodus and then there were none
Exodus a lesson in violence
Exodus piranha
Testament alone in the dark
Kreator people of the lie
Kreator pleasure to kill
Destruction curse the gods
Destruction life without sense
Mortal sin I am immortal
Mortal sin mayhemic destruction
Destruction thrash till death
Onslaught metal forces
Onslaught lightning war
Annihilator - Phantasmagoria
This had been on my list of songs I would eventually request to you on Patreon. I'm glad that I can scratch it off though because this is an essential band, album and song to check out in the thrash genre.
Very good. I really like a lot of Annihilator, but my two favorites are numerically titled. Sixes and Seven's, about straightening out issues in life, and 21, about fretting over a game of blackjack. Other favorites include, but are not limited to:
Clown Parade
Knight Jumps Queen
Couple Suicide
Kicked
King of the Kill
I Am in Command
WTyD (Welcome To your Death)
Human Insecticide
The Fun Palace
Never, Neverland
Second to None
Fiasco
City of Ice
Denied
Insomniac
Army of One
...and the list goes on...
I also like that the song Alison Hell is from the album Alice in Hell.
Yeah man, I saw this on Headbangers Ball, way back.. I forgot all about these guys. Good track!
Good one. I remember wearing this whole album out on cassette back in the day.
My favourite Annihilator lineup is The Alice In Hell lineup from 1989 with
Randy Rampage
Jeff Waters
Anthony Greenham/Dave Scott Davis

Annihilator is my favorite band together with metallica! Here are some song suggestions: I am in Command, Never Neverland, Refresh the Demon, Sixes and Sevens, King of the Kill, Ligeia, Bloodbath, back to the palace, Phantasmagoria, Fight the World .... And for straight up ballads: Phoenix Rising, Sounds good to me, Fantastic Things, In the blood, ...... Jeff Waters is the main guy behind the band. He hires a ton of musicians for his studio and touring. But 99% of the writing is done by him, he plays (both) guitars, bass on the studio versions and even sings on a ton of records. So on some of the LPs the drums are the only thing not done by him. He is super nice and down to earth and the coolest guy in music probably together with james hetfield... Hope you like em!
from what i understood from the message that jeff waters is trying to send it is the ignorance of the parents about the dolls possessed and instead of listening to their daughter and helping her by calling a priest and a paranormal specialist to deal with this problem and help the daughter alice unfortunately the parents have chose to lock him up in the basement and ignore him so a big thank you to jeff waters for showing this around the world thanks to this song
I read about this song it was based on a true event they asked the family permission to tell her story
"Knight Jumps Queen" is another one by Annihilator
cool video ! the album never neverland is perfect too , i recommand fun palace . cheers
Exciter, Razor, Voivod
Burns like a buzzsawblade is another great song by Annihilator it‘s from the same album, some good newer songs are imo Snap and Suicide society from the album suicide society the guitarist Jeff Waters also sings
good pick dude
I absolutely love this song.
"this is f....k quality. Right you are sir!
That was like if Rush was a metal band wow!
Awesome song awesome band!! I suggest watching Tim the Ripper Owens do it live!! It’s nice!!🤘
Best Canadian metal band.
*_AYE_* I'm telling you right now that you need to put *CORONER* somewhere on your list of bands to get to. They're pretty pivotal in thrash metal's history. Many call them the "Rush" of thrash. I hope you get around to em sometime. The most popular track of theirs (dope track) is called Masked Jackal. But if you can squeeze in any other suggestion for the future, check out Read My Scars.
No matter what track you start with, you gotta check out Coroner. I just fucking know that it's right up your alley, and the sort of shit you've been looking for a long time my guy. Been a sub since your reaction to Lucretia, hear me out on this one.
Yes! Reborn through hate!
Love watching you jam out my man!
Same band: Stonewall, Imperiled eyes, Plasma zombies;
Seen the band live twice, they sound really tight and skilled
Imperiled eyes rules good choice
Man Annihilator is my favorite band (together with Metallica)! ...here are some song suggestions from annihilator: alison hell, I am in Command, Never Neverland, Refresh the Demon, King of the Kill, Ligeia, Bloodbath, .... So on some of the LPs the drums are the only thing not done by him (but he also uses a drumcomputer to record his pars so he basiccally just shows the drummer what to play alot of the time). He is super nice and down to earth and the coolest guy in music probably together with james... Hope you like em!
U missed the intro to it crystal ann
This was for their first and best album back in 1989.Great album and Scott Waters is a great guitarist.Insecticide is my favorite song from them.A suggestion for reaction,Heavens gate,a great german power/heavy metal band. Both the first two albums are full of great songs, the second released in 1991 is definitely one of the top ever heavy/power metal albums ever and I recommend reacting to Empty To Nowhere, Gate of Heaven. Livin' In Hysteria,Ge Got The Time, The Neverending Fire from the second album and Path To Glory,In Control, Tyrants, Surrender, and Turn It Down from the first (1989) as well as to the songs Touch The Light and He's The Man
Been waiting for this
Cradle of Filth does a fucking sick cover of this song-- and if you were get introduced to Cradpe of Flith I would 1000% suggest the video Heartbreak and Seance 👍
great pick. was really irked to see it earlier just to get the blocked message. Screw youtube and the record labels.
Never neverland is their best album, 1990. Stonewall, Sixes and Sevens, the fun palace and road to ruin are amazing.
Nice reaction. If you do Annihilator again try "Army of one" or "Kicked" . Speed and flowing nice .
I've seen Annihilator live a few times and they are always awesome. First time was as support for Judas Priest on the Painkiller tour. You should listen to the tracks: King of The Kill, The Trend, Welcome To Your Death, Set The World On Fire, just to mention a few.....
Annihilator - Deadlock
Please do something off the album Never, Neverland from 1990! Absolutely insane album
My favorite Annihilator is “The Fun Palace.”
I’d also love to see you react to Phantom Blue’s “Going Mad,” Savatage’s “The Unholy,” Impelliterri’s “Stand in Line,” Rush’s “Marathon,” Skillet’s “Rebirthing,” Fates Warning’s “The Eleventh Hour,” Queensryche’s “Spreading the Disease,” Yngwie Malmsteen’s “Judas.”
Its a classic song & album.
Clicked instantly- I thought you’d like this one! Don’t get too attached to any one vocalist - there have been a few over the years. I think Dave Mustaine asked Jeff Waters to join Megadeth after this was released. Waters later found out they were listening to Alison Hell on cassette while they were rehearsing Rust in Peace.
After alison they were almost forgotten
I dig this Album, but thats it... great musician, sure... they were supposed to be the next big thing back then, but they just were not
My favourite Annihilator lineup is The Alice In Hell lineup from 1989 with
Randy Rampage
Jeff Waters
Anthony Greenham/Dave Scott Davis
Wayne Darley
Ray Hartmann
This was their best work, although the Never, Never Land album is excellent as well. Recommend Human Insecticide, Ligeia, and WYTD (Welcome to Your Death). From the second album, I Am In Command and Phantasmagoria are excellent as well.
awesome. Thanx
I think it was the video that got blocked man. The song itself has been covered by other reaction channels. Either way, that sucks.
Phoenix rising nice slow song by annihilator or never neverland hard asf
Guitar player actually auditioned for Megadeth before Rust in Peace!
Really??
The Adventures of TNT Dave was strongly considering him. In interviews Dave JR said Megadeth listened to Alice in Hell a lot while making Rust In Peace. You can definitely hear the influence. Very technical
I'd suggest 'Imperilled Eyes'
😊
go check "Annihilator - The Trend"
Jeff Waters is one of the best thrash guitarists on the planet! This album from the band is kick arse! However, in my totally humble opinion, King of the Kill with Jeff on guitar and vocals is even better!
I suggest listening to Stormbending by Devin Townsend and Words are just Words by Cyclone Temple ,a really underrated band.
You should listen to more annihilator, never neverland is a fantastic album
Definately recommend imperiled eyes
Road to ruin then set the world on fire they have. 15 cds love feast
Real
Annihilator - One falls two rise
Should give stone wall a listen good tune
Megadeth+JP...I hear it, well put...😁
Never blocked on CZcams!
Awesome my friend ❤️.. more megadeth please youthanasia
@@bschuler6216 sounds good to me as long it's megadeth. He wants to hear Dave mustaine singing so i recommended youthanasia.
Looking down the cross is my favorite song
please react next to wtyd.
Power Thrash Metaal TOXIK THINK THIS
The whole Alice In Hell album from Annihilator is top-notch classic thrash. Couldn't vibe with any of their other records though. Didn't like the vocalist change much.
Hate the lead vocals but the song rocks
2:47 liar.
I have been telling about this song for a long time.. But again because i am not paying Money I was totally ignored.
Annihilator-Welcome to you death. Should be next. But It will be ignored because I am not a patron.
/shame
Annihilator - Phantasmagoria
Annihilator - One falls two rise
Annihilator - Deadlock
