Randy Rampage, the singer, was bassist in the Canadian hardcore punk band D.O.A. in the later 1970's, and recorded his own album in 1982 before joining Annihilator as a singer. His vocals are quite different in each format, as was his speaking voice. talented man who died recently at age 58. Jeff Waters has been Canada's king of thrash metal for a long time and still going strong. Canada produces a lot of top notch metal musicians but only a few, like Devin Townshend, really get much exposure.

This band played all over the Lower Mainland around Vancouver in the mid to late 1980s, I must have seen them perform this song 25-30 times before the album dropped. They're still my favourite thrash band and Jeff Waters will always rule. RIP Randy Rampage.

If you liked this, check out some EVILE. They were/are from the new wave of Thrash, but their lead guitarist got his start transcribing Jeff Waters (Annihilator) guitar parts. Their debut had that old 80s scuzzy production (thanks to Flemming Rasmussen who had produced Metallica on Ride the Lightning thru And Justice For All), and tracks like "Thrasher" and "Armoured Assault" are pure 80s Thrash. On their next album, I'd say they modernized their sound a bit, but "Infected Nations" is a top notch track.

One of my favorite bands ever! True story: Dave Mustaine was so impressed by this album that he contacted the guitar player Jeff Waters and told him he wanted him to play guitar for him in Megadeth. Jeff Waters to this day is still super appreciative that Dave reached out to him but he ultimately turned him down to make Annihilator albums that are still going strong to this day. But you know you're good when you're offered a place in Megadeth.
As for a suggestion: Annihilator - Bloodbath. Didn't even have to think about it. The answer is Bloodbath.

Very good. I really like a lot of Annihilator, but my two favorites are numerically titled. Sixes and Seven's, about straightening out issues in life, and 21, about fretting over a game of blackjack. Other favorites include, but are not limited to:
    Clown Parade
    Knight Jumps Queen
    Couple Suicide
    Kicked
    King of the Kill
    I Am in Command
    WTyD (Welcome To your Death)
    Human Insecticide
    The Fun Palace
    Never, Neverland
    Second to None
    Fiasco
    City of Ice
    Denied
    Insomniac
    Army of One
    ...and the list goes on...
I also like that the song Alison Hell is from the album Alice in Hell.

Annihilator is my favorite band together with metallica! Here are some song suggestions: I am in Command, Never Neverland, Refresh the Demon, Sixes and Sevens, King of the Kill, Ligeia, Bloodbath, back to the palace, Phantasmagoria, Fight the World .... And for straight up ballads: Phoenix Rising, Sounds good to me, Fantastic Things, In the blood, ...... Jeff Waters is the main guy behind the band. He hires a ton of musicians for his studio and touring. But 99% of the writing is done by him, he plays (both) guitars, bass on the studio versions and even sings on a ton of records. So on some of the LPs the drums are the only thing not done by him. He is super nice and down to earth and the coolest guy in music probably together with james hetfield... Hope you like em!

from what i understood from the message that jeff waters is trying to send it is the ignorance of the parents about the dolls possessed and instead of listening to their daughter and helping her by calling a priest and a paranormal specialist to deal with this problem and help the daughter alice unfortunately the parents have chose to lock him up in the basement and ignore him so a big thank you to jeff waters for showing this around the world thanks to this song

*_AYE_* I'm telling you right now that you need to put *CORONER* somewhere on your list of bands to get to. They're pretty pivotal in thrash metal's history. Many call them the "Rush" of thrash. I hope you get around to em sometime. The most popular track of theirs (dope track) is called Masked Jackal. But if you can squeeze in any other suggestion for the future, check out Read My Scars.
No matter what track you start with, you gotta check out Coroner. I just fucking know that it's right up your alley, and the sort of shit you've been looking for a long time my guy. Been a sub since your reaction to Lucretia, hear me out on this one.
