This is an ongoing thing, and its disguisting. You poeple attempted ethnic cleanesing. Because of that no civilized culture would ever respect you again untill you have a serious look at yourselves. Stop taking shit from corrupt leaders, stop having the temperament of children, punish your war criminals, (the real ones), arrest your terrorists, stop celebrating shooting and killing a neutral party that was truly only was there to help the civillians. (Isnt surrendering to ethnicly cleansing and raping serbian soldiers a proof of that?) Stop the hooliganism. Make red star win in the FIBA. Why has a nation so interested in basketball never won a world title? 🤔

      "11-year old Bosnian girl killed by sniper fire"
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_of_Archduke_Franz_Ferdinand_of_Austria
      Also.. I find it ironic and actually kinda hilarious that you forgot that it was actually SERBIA who started WW1. What the heck... hahaha. Way to blame the poor germans who got so fucked so hard in the ass by the peace treaty that they a couple of years later acually elected a nazi-madman to be their defacto dictator. Nationalism is scary.
      Also, ww1 is a huge tragedy that should not have even started in the first place. If you actually do your reseach you would understand that the only reason ww1 broke out was truly a case of "a perfect storm" if you will. So many unlucky coincidenses and accidents and misunderstandings led to that horrible and shitty war which remains a scar on humanity to this day. And remains a monument to human stupidity and self destructiveness.
      And also, regarding the massacres conducted against Serbians. They were indeed inhumane and and I am sorry for yours, and any nation or people who had to go through things like this. But remember, that does not excuse retaliating the same way. Nationalism is poisioning the minds of young men like you and your neighboring contries, and you are all hating fellow humans and neighbors based on imaginary lines drawn on pieces of paper, crimes comitted by those peoples fathers and grandfathers, whose ethnicities are questionable at best. Its like going "Oh hey, the guys across the river have purple nipples, and worship a child molester... Lets kill them because we have orange nipples and worship a bearded arabian dude who somehow is depicted as white and who walked on water or something idk." Its all so stupid. Why cant people stop killing eachother eh? And what do I see on youtube? Young men gloating over their nationality and how their etnicity is somehow better than the rest of the world or something. Its retarded and you should be ashamed for perpetuating such nonsense.
      Its hypocritical of you to blame bosnians when serbians did the same thing. Peace can only be achieved if everyone admits their own wrongdoings. "We didnt do nuffin" is the excuse people who cant think for themselves make. Be more critical man. Oh, and also, it sounds like you are parroting russian propaganda when you say that America and other european countries are imperialistic expansionist, bombing "completely innocent" dictatorial states and state supported terror cells. Tell me.. what european countries have in the last 20 years done an agressive expansion of their borders? Oh, let me see... Russia and baltic countries. Whoops, there goes your argument against the rest of us "scary expansionists".
      Tell me, do you honestly think that Serbians are completely innocent and justified in every single action they took against Bosnians?

    • @chrismcnee9287
      @chrismcnee9287 Před 4 lety +7

      Adrian Shephard I’m sorry but, Gen Mackenzie, did not rape anyone. The Canadian government has a long hard approach to setting examples of illegal leadership. This has been proven from when the Canadian government disbanded a whole regiment (the airborne) and other situations. Gen. Mackenzie was constantly escorted with a multinational escort close protection team. He had made enough enemies with his approach to dealing with so called Chetniks. All factions whether they were Croat, Serb, Bosnian or Muslims were drunk 24/7 on slevovich (aka sleep in a ditch plumb brandy) in the town of Sirac a Croat girl accused being rapped by a Canadian solider. The Canadian government destroyed the guys life and career and when all was said and done she admitted to lying and the case was thrown out. So unless you can have substantial proof and not drunken hear say of any Canadian soldier raping anyone there’s little to no evidence. The poor ladies at the time were being rapped by the warring factions and even by there own people. It was a sad situation back in 92

    • @chrismcnee9287
      @chrismcnee9287 Před 4 lety

      D P he pissed out the government of Canada by pressing to lead the mission and also standing up to the minister of defence at the time. He also regularly discredited the UN and its poor ability to do simple things on the ground. He spoke his mind and wouldn’t favour any side there.

    • @chrismcnee9287
      @chrismcnee9287 Před 4 lety +1

      D P it was a strange time than. I was watching a documentary a few years ago and all of a sudden I realize I’m in the documentary (sector Sarajevo). The place was in shambles. Every side blaming each other for breaking truces? All pointing fingers except at themselves. We as Canadians at time’s did have to return fire. When this would happen it would shock the buggers as they never expected any UN contingency of not taking standing up to them. They also forgot that we were trained soldiers and rarely miss :) while we were in a town called Butmir (beside the Sarajevo airport) we brought aid packages of food and such. The locals who had nothing made us tea and super strong coffee. This was normal all over the balkins whether they were Croats, Serbs or Muslim villagers. Well this lady who handed me a tray of coffee and some pasty’s smiled and thanked us for delivering the aid packages. She was about 20-25 and like many in war regions looked tired and broken. Well zoom ahead to 2010 in at a bakery in Fredericton NB, and I see this lady who is a baker and for what ever reason I say “Dober Dan” she looked at me replied “Dobro” she immediately asks me how I know this, I tell her what I just told you. I said “you gave me coffee and pastry’s in Butmir” she broke down in tears and was a wreck. I was in a state of shock as I had not remembered that day in Butmir until I seen her. After she settled down, she sat with me and thanked me, I said for what? She said the aid helped. I see her from time to time. She told me she immigrated to Canada in 96, the odd part in 96 was my unit was back in Yugo/Bosnia again. Meanwhile all the refuges were living in a refuge camp in Gagetown NB were I was posted when not deployed. Small world.....

      @C mc Canadians are well known allies of Serbs. Even armed Serbs with U.N, APC's and uniforms so that Serbs could storm places like Nišička visoravan and kill Bosnian civilians. It's also well known fact that Canadians went to hotel Sonja with Lewis Mackenzie to rape Bosnian women that were civilians captured by Nikola Poplašen faction. Canadians also defended Serbian Krajina when Serbs suffered a defeat in Medački džep and opened fire on Croatian army as well. Canadians were good for nothing POS that were in Bosnia only to pose around and sell humanitarian aid for personal gains. Nothing but criminals and scum. The only worse were Dutch but than again what Bosnians should expect? Even Serbians admit that Canadians were raping Bosnian women in hotel Sonja and Vilina Vlas. The guys obeyed UN special orders issues at that time in Bosnia to not return fire (even if they are allowed to) because the UN didn't to make the situation worse and to make people believe it was here to invade. Similar situations occured with Dutch and Danish soldiers I think.
    The French soldiers in the video are legionnaires. They would have demolished a bunch of serb rebel easily. But this event was reported in France, and people were furious, even more the new president, Jacques Chirac who had been elected just a few days before, and was taking office.
    When he learnt that, he told French generals in Bosnia to return fire and avenge any aggressive move by serbs of Bosnia immediately, whatever the consequences would be with UNO.
    On the 27th of May 1995, a French observation post at Vrbanja Bridge, Sarajevo, was not answering to calls from the French high command. The French soldiers there had been taken prisoners by Serbs wearing French uniforms and arriving in white painted UN armoured vehicules. Immediately, nearby French troops of the Marine Infantry, mounted a charge on the bridge and observation post, after fixing baionets. The fight was hard and included hand to hand combat, baionet and grenades. The French prevailed, killed some serbs and took others as prisoners.
    The French government issued a message saying French troops would answer this way to any Bosnian aggression. After that event, no other French observation post was attacked...

      Philippine peacekeepers in Syria were also ordered by the UN to surrender and give their weapons to the enemy after Syrian rebels attacked their post(I don't know if the one who ordered that even finished 1st grade). The PH peacekeepers ignored the order and returned fire, battled with them for many hours and escaped the post after being out of ammo. No casualties(as far as I can remember) and they carried their guns with them.
      The commanding general of the UN said they were cowards, then reversing the statement later saying they were heroes.
      Really hard to take people seriously when they're all talk and not risking their skin. I also doubt that the people out there in that building ever experienced conflict or hardship for them to make "wise" decisions.

      sada das : Yes I do. But still the UN has no backbone they simply don’t have the means to stop genocides or acts of aggression because
      They bow to those who are in charge of the UN Council and if The U.S. doesn’t approve of action to be taken than no country will. That’s why the killings in Bosnia, Srebrenica, And Rwanda as well as countless other examples have taken place.
      If some Serb rebels managed to stop the better equipped UN then that pretty much proves my point.
      The UN needs more freedom to act without dictations from the UN headquarters.
      And then after those atrocities they say they didn’t know and that more actions should have been taken when it could have.
      But they simply didn’t care because it was not in there interests to send troops to foreign country without reason. If resources were at stake then maybe but if not then just sit back and watch the bloodbath.

    I don't get it. In the video he said they were ordered from their offices NOT to surrender, but these soldiers were smart enough to surrender, cuz they were surrender and had no chance for victory. Yet everyone in the comment section Is claiming they were ordered to surrender, otherwise they would never do it. Can someone explain??

      @Elizabeta Bosnae what youre saying is true but not the way you said it. It is fact that there were bosniaks loyal to JNA and continued to serve because they were residing in Serbia and Montenegro (My dad served with croats in the JNA during his time in the 90's.). and it is fact that we kept all the military equipment from Yugoslavia days. Although the Armija was not in the Serbia or JNA.... they were always in Bosnia. Armija actually had more troops than HVO and VRS as well.
      I would like to add that Milosevic offered Alija an agreement to avoid war against each other but under the advisory of America, Alija rejected and opted for war.

      @user-wx8si6bf2p Před 4 lety +1

      Elizabeta Bosnae yeah your right we did have all the apc’s, helicopters and tanks In belgrade. But you know that when the war broke out most people in jna returned to fight in their homeland. Hardly was anyone else besides serbs and some JNA loyalists from croatia and bosnia.
      Also if youre going to point out that we commit war crimes then you should point out the war crimes committed by bosniaks and croats. Otherwise you should not point the finger at us when you are at fault for the same crime.

    This is why the "peace keeping" role is very difficult... there to reduce the civilian death rate but without pissing off the Waring factions. I think the War would have carried on far longer if the UN had gone in all guns blazing rather than trying to Police. It is hard to maintain motivation when fighting on foreign soil for something that was never clear and unsure who the enemy is, Afghanistan and Iraq being good examples, average grunt is happy to blow shit up but that doesn't resolve a conflict. I visited Yugoslavia in the 70s and troubles were brewing as West Germany started throwing Slav guest workers out, the death of Tito opened the door for unrest and it all started to kick off after that.
