Desensitisation isn’t the game’s problem, it’s a personal issue. I have a full time job, 2000 hours since 2018 and I still very much enjoy the game because I’m not min maxing my experience.

I play with around 6-7 guys usually in 2-3 man groups, we all have a variety of hours with the most being around 1k and we’re having a great time, most of the time.
I really love pvp right now personally. Only issue is my pc is super old now and skips/drops frames like crazy at times. Sounds like a you issue, but hopefully you find some joy again

I think the reason he’s saying that is there is very little counter play and fights often times are very linear. You always have to watch out for making noise because some rat may be laying in a corner or in some cheeky spot. The reason he’s also able to do those peaks is because the peek advantage and that’s problematic
