      That happens to us as well sometimes. It is because you are tensing almost every muscle which can cause cramps. Make sure that you are hydrated before trying this exercise.

    ok but I don't understand how do can I still have straight arms with the frog stand???

    I really dont understand this move. I've been doing bodyweight workouts for 10+ years, can do 40-50 push ups with a 20 kg vest, can do about 40 dips at a 80 kg bw, all with proper form. Yet holding the tuck planche for more than 2 seconds seems impossible. I can hold planche leans with hands at waist level for a minute and probably longer. I just can't figure out where the weak point is. I have straight arms, keep my scapula protracted, yet I can't do it. If anyone has any idea, I would really appreciate an opinion.

    Wait, I can do the frog stand easy, but I can't do the tuck hold. Why?

    • @CalisthenicsFamily
      @CalisthenicsFamily  Před 4 lety +1

      The difference between the frog stand and a planche hold is that with the planche hold, you are using straight arm strength and with the frong stand you use bent arms. Straight arm strength is much harder so you could start with practicing planche leans if the tucked planche is still too hard!

      I meant why can I do the frog hold for a longer time, even with straight arms but not the first exercise, the most basic one
