- This is a compilation of small clips that I recorded of all the interviews that I could find of Prince from my previous dvr recordings and from internet findings. I've edited these clips focusing on what I thought was most interesting and how I want to remember him, arranging them in the order I felt was best.
As I look at this vid, it's still hard to believe that Prince is no longer with us in the flesh. But, his music and legacy will live on forever.

The way he mastered being an introvert while not being afraid to shine as the brightest star in a room is beyond admirable... Even in his interviews, he came across as a shy guy, and right in the middle of a statement - BAM! - he'll drop a joke or bold assertion (with his trademark facial expressions, or suggestive lengthy pause)....Classic Prince. RIP, Your Royal Purpleness.

As he said after Dick Clarke asking him how many instruments he could play. Prince said 1000s. Back then it was looked at embarrassing. Yet give Prince a 1000 instruments from around the world. He can play whatever u put in his hands. What freedom sounds like? Oprah sucking up to him knowing Amar was dead. She could of treated him like a human and offer him help.
I love that he makes a joke about the first time Dick Clark asks him how many instruments he can play and he replies 'Thousands' just as he does here (at 14:25 with that laugh)
I miss him. Seem like everything went bad when he moved on. The music industry is garbage. He meant alot to alot of people. Good compilation.

The purple spell will never leave and cannot be broken. His videos, voice, music, humour, intelligence and spirituality live on. Most of us lose a loved slowly who dies because we have so little of them. However, we all have the ability to see and hear Prince whenever we want. I don't see the tears; I see the artist, the genius and man who continues to influence me in a positive way.

A beautiful humble soul who says he prays every night but does it to thank God and doesn't ask for a lot. A man who has given so much and has the courage to speak out against war and corruption and chemical trails. That to me is using his fame for good. RIP beautiful soul .

Yes....Prince 4ever. :-) I attended a private party at Paisley Park in August 2015. Definitely within the top three major highlights of my life! He came out and spoke around 1 a.m. Of course, we never knew that would be our last time seeing him alive. May he 4ever rest in peace.

I see it a little differently. I actually always felt he was thinner during his years with Mayte. If you look at him throughout Batman Soundtrack and Graffiti Bridge or Diamonds and Pearls: he is more full in the face. I think you can tell when the stress of the relationship and experiences are being worn on his face. Maybe we all interpret it differently. What do you feel about it?

IMO he looked unhappy, very thin. Hardly smiled. I think their marriage was doomed from the beginning. Age difference may have been a factor. Possibly not compatible except for stage performances. Mayte blames the loss of their baby for their failed marriage. Could be. Love is not infatuation, lust, fantasy, or fairytale. No marriage is perfect. Marriage endures imperfections and crisis if there’s a foundation of true love, commitment, respect, trust. Maybe it was simply a bad mistake.
