No it does not. It’d most likely be a tie if Shadow wasn’t given non-canon feats. For example Shadow cannot stop time in his base form. Shadow shouldn’t be able to touch Super Sonic before going super form. Shadow doesn’t have a pure red form.

So in conclusion they are really equal in everything.

Shadow- when his limiters are removed has the power of a chaos emerald... Sonic is in his super form which has the power of 7.... so i don't... know how he lost to limiters off shadow.. but sure- still a cool animation

@@BurnTH actually Dark Sonic is far stronger than Super Sonic. In Sonic X, The Meterex said that They had recorded all of Sonics last battles. And that the robots were made to survive his attacks. His first battle with the Meterex was in his Super Form. So that means the robots were made to fight and take attacks from Super Sonic. And Sonic destroyed them with ease. That's why to me it was disappointing that we never saw Dark Sonic again. Because eggman called him down.
But the other forms are an awe....because I thought it would be cool to see them. But I can understand why you dont use them.

So officialy dark Sonic doesn't exist and if he even exist is weaker than super sonic. And super sonic from Sonic x is far away weaker than from the videogames.

Ive seen some comments here and they really distrube me. Allow me to clear things up.
1.Shadow Does no have a Hyper form people.
2.Dark Sonic Is not Canon but just like The super emeralds, Dark energy Can POSSIBLY be possible in the Canon World.
3.Yes, shadow had the Inhibitor rings, but they are to store UNUSED CHAOS ENERGY. Not to store up the power he doesn't use. Thats why whenever he takes off his rings, he does something called, CHAOS blast. And as well, its limited. Therefore, even if the hypothesis If Shadow were take off the rings in his shoes then he would be faster than sonic, would be false because, The rings power storage is limited, which means Shadow would basically be like Metap Sonic's Maximum Overdrive. He'd be faster than Sonic for a while and thats it. No more. Sonic would just proceed to be faster than him again.
Yeh thats about it.
Oh and Imo I Say that Between Sonic and Shadow, Sonic wins this one.

1. Nobody know about it, because Super Emeralds haven't appeared since Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I don't even think it's canon, so Hyper form is not canon too.
2. Not interested in this, so let's talk about the third.
3. I made his shoes rings not to make him faster but to make him even stronger than without his hands rings. In other words, he unleashes all of his power, what I introduced in animation.
Than, about Sonic and Shadow. In their base abilities, they are equal. They have the same speed, the same strength, spin dash, light speed attack, blue/black tornado and etc. BUT, there is one thing that makes Shadow stronger. His Chaos Power. It gives him more chances to win, and Shadow is also more skilled about battle. He actually uses his arms and legs in many games, and Sonic is not.
So, I think, Shadow is actually stronger than Sonic (sorry for my English, I am from Russia)

4.I mean, Sonic Obtained Super not so long after His 1st adventure, obtained hyper in a seperate story. As well obained Darkspine. Not to mention he know Sonic Wind or The Sonic Slash that stuns some people. But yeah. Shadow probably has a little bit more Chaos energy than Sonic. But in strength, I actually say Sonic is Stronger due to the fact that Sonic has shown more impressive feats than Shadow.
Sonic 2006. Sonic lost to Silver twice, and Shadow actually defeats him in a first fight. I know that Sonic was distracted, but that is not changing anything. Sonic 06 is not canon, but it still has the best way to show the difference between characters and their behave.
Also, about Darkspine. It is actually not canon too, because this transformation was literally in a fairy tale. And about strength... Shadow the Hedgehog. In two different endings he defeats Sonic and G.U.N. commander in a mech in the same time. Maybe it is not a good argument, but it actually shows Shadow's power. @@BurnTH 1. Shadow used Chaos energy. Sonic didn't. Sonic doesn't use his chaos energy in most battles. He like plain fighting. A nice fist fight. Just to show that Sonic amd Shadoe have different fighting styes.
2. Actually,Darkspine is canon as long as Secret rings is. And both Black Knight and Secret Rings tell us it happend. In secret rings he told us he came from another universe and accidently stumbled upon the place Secret Rings takes place. Black knight tells us how Sonic Really was going through the experience. He really is King Arthur in the Universe Black Knight takes place.
3. It doesn't really show Shadow beat Sonic but Shadow Beating the G.U.N machine. As the boss battle doesn't let you take care of Sonic. Only the Robot.
4. Yeah... That basically proves my point. Shadow's inhibitor rings does not limit Shadow's power, in Just stores Chaos energy untill he is reasy to let it go. Which means, physically, Sonic is stronger. When it comes to Chaos energy, Shadow probably has the advantage here because Most of his attacks are Made of Chaos energy. Chaos spear etc. But that hasn't stopped Sonic from beating people who use Chaos energy.
@@BurnTH Oh and yes, shadow has beaten Sonic three times. In Sa2, Heroes and Shadow the Hedghog. Sonic as well has beat him three times. Sa2, Heroes, an Generations. So the fact that Shadow has beaten Sonic isn't really a feet because Sonic as well has beaten him. Just to show the relatiomship between Sonic and Shadow. They act like if they were serious people and sometimes make jokes of eachother. Bu whenever Sonic Overpowers Shadow, Shadow is just right behind him until he catches up to him. Then the same proccess repeats. Its a Power relationship.
