The Sjögren’s Foundation understands that many patients continue to have questions about the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine.
With this in mind, the Foundation recently hosted a second, free, member Town Hall featuring Cassandra Calabrese, DO, and member of the Foundation’s COVID-19 Vaccination Committee to provide an update. I find this difficult to listen to since I was a healthy healthcare worker until I got the Pfizer vaccine and 4 days later I became incredibly ill. Vertigo blurred vision head fullness loss of vision left eye for a short time dizziness Aphasia word finding body tremors shortness of breath fatigue like I’ve never known. All doctors told me my symptoms aren’t vaccine related. My employer mandated vaccine so I was forced to get second shot. Two days later I was in an ambulances to er with chest pain and cramping sweating all over and shortness of breath, Tachacardia crazy fatigue. Still told not vaccine related. Unable to work or string two sentences together and basically bed ridden. Still health authority denied my exemption request still specialists gaslit me still they repeated vaccine is safe and effective. Forced to get 3rd shot and my symptoms exacerbated. I’ve developed gi issues, rash on torso- this rash happened right after first shot. Severe head fullness dizziness in my head and continued crashing with tinnitus and tremors in arms legs whole body mental confusion terrible short term memory difficulty reading focusing. Dx initially with pppd and vestibular migraine - PT did not help at all. Then dx with ME\CFS- and last week dx with Sjogrens. Over two years of hell and looking for answers. Doctors need to stop pushing the vaccine because it IS NOT safe for everyone and I’m living proof it’s dangerous. I’ve worked in healthcare and different hospital programs and ive never seen such blatant ignorance and gaslighting from the medical community in all my life. Doctors should have been honest about the possibility that I was having a negative reaction from the vaccine and I should have been advised not to get a second or third shot. Thank god Pfizer was forced to publish their findings in the Pfizer Documents and Lo and behold ME CFS and Sjogrens are two of many diseases that can be attributed/caused by the vaccine.

Totally off topic but we Sjogrens patients could use help with dental problem education for dentist. Also help getting insurance to cover dental procedures caused by the disease be covered under medical because of the disease ruining our teeth.

Yes! Why is my health insurance not covering my "mouth" issues that are caused by my health issue?! It makes no sense to me besides the fact that insurances only want to take your money not use theirs to help you out! Greed!
