means if the pump is running dry and gets hot or it gets hot it will shut down automatically. lot of variables depends on how high and how far it has to push the water 1/2 is a good all around unit.
1. Does it hurt a grinder pump to never really grind while used in an Effluent application. There's occassional scum floaters in the effluent tank. 2. My effluent tank pump is at 6 or 7ft below street level in the side yard, but pumps efflent to the backyard, uphill with elevation gain of about 25 total feet from pump to drain field and run of 40ft to 50ft tops. I want a pump what's overkill rather than underkill that can't keep up with the dose timer with what's supposed to be pumped. Prefer metal fins/vane. And upper and lower ball bearing bearings. Any suggestions make/model. It's a 120v system
It doesn’t hurt them they have a much higher head pressure. if it’s a true effluent application then a cast iron effluent pump can normally be specified and work just fine. We have one at 40ft of head it’s 40gpm that’s a lot of water even with every sink on shower, and laundry you wouldn’t out run it. The elevation is what matters most of the horizontal run doesn’t really come into play much because it’s doesn’t change the head pressure in a dramatic way unless it’s very large 2000 plus feet. Other things come into play also really pressure is only there if the pipes are full they shouldn’t be if it was properly done. Once at distribution gravity disperses the water if the field lines were done correctly the pump just gets it to that point.
depends on what part and how it gets to the tank. is it going to city sewer?? is it going into a tank from the house then a pump is needed to discharge into field lines. Need some more information if you call the office we can ask the pertinent information to zero on what you need.
Hi. I need to pump some 500 gal per day of barely turbid water from a holding tank for a distance of 400 ft to an elevation of 30-40 feet. Which pump should I use? Jose.
500 gpd is not much the elevation is what you need to overcome. how dirty is the water if it’s clean a high head water well style pump is what we would recommend.
Thank you, this video was very helpful.
@@Turbosha777 Gald you liked it.
This guy is great
Great explanation, I would love to see a vid on your control boxes
We have a playlist on our control panels here: Septic System Panels

Which horse power is good for a residential Septic tank .3 or 1/2 hp and what’s thermally protected means

which pump is best for rental business? 4 people in a house?

Can I use a 10Gpm instead of 20Gpm? All I'm finding around my area is 10Gpm.
We have 20gpm and ship it to you in 2 days max if in Texas it’s next day.
