Agreed in Germany there is great tank museum.
I don't know about the Lansen gun. Mine has problem hitting most of the time.
It can be quite derpy at long ranges, which is funny for a tank labeled as a ' Sniper Medium '.

It's crazy that you say don't believe the accuracy on the paper because for me thats exactly how this vehicle behaves. Im missing shots left and right, even with a set up that boosts gunhandling to the fullest. The tank can work for sure but for me its a big big diva :D

I love the tank, but the gun is quite derpy for a tank described as a ' Sniper Medium ' by the game.
Love this tank, I was actually able to achieve my 3rd mark and is one of my favorite tanks. Some time later I was able to pick up the C52 Lis because it kind of statistically is similar to the lansen and assumed it would be an upgraded version. It seems that is the general opinion also.
Surprisingly, they do not play similar at all in my opinion. And prefer the lansen more so in general so far.
U have opened my eyes on that tank. I thought IT is not that good but actually this tank looks like its made for me
Lansen is one of my top favorite tanks. I like it a lot better than the lis. A lot more flexible in my opinion.
Despite I'm not going to buy many tanks that Skeeeeel reviewed (and this one also). I still keep watching and enjoying all his videos in order to learn some new awesome positions and to feel this atmosphere of respectfull and easygoing gaming! Thx for what you do, buddy!

I love my lansen, my most damage in a game was only 3700 in 637 battles, the issues I have is more then not I face tier 10's and or 2 or 3 arties. I am not the best player by far but when I do play I do it for the fun. great video Skill. Shout out from Texas US

This tank. On paper, it doesn't look like much, but in the field, this thing is really good, at least for me. It was one of the first T8 premiums I own where I started to put up really good WR numbers. I don't play it all the time but I always have a blast when I do and throughout that entire time, the WR has stayed really high and is even creeping up a little higher. If they'd only sell the 3D skin on its own I'd happily grab that.

what you said early on about no armour puts you at great disadvantage is dead on of course. But this is exactly where the game has changed for the worse. In old days you could have fun with lots of tanks with no armour but now everything is an autoloader and a match is over for you very fast if you make a single error. Its not fun anymore I can't understand why WG can't see what they are doing is very very bad for "fun" and thats of course why we play
To me Lansen is one of those hidden gems at tier 8. It has definitely suffered from power creep so it's a hard tank to play well but oh so rewarding.
Got it 3 marked a while back alongside the UDES 14 5, ppl seriously underestimate these tanks.

One of my liked mediums, and feels comfortable to play. Having no armour, I don't get bothered by the gold spammers since it's only a waste of credits on their part.

I really like the Lansen, it's pretty hard to play, every single tank that hits you is a pen and usually taking out your turret and driver
But the agility, camo and alpha damage with fast reload for the alpha is so rewarding.
But it feels kind of out of place in this current Meta of heavily armoured heavy tanks with massive alpha, I have been mostly a medium tank player for years but it feels like if you are not in a Heavy these days you have brought a knife to a gun fight.
I really like the Lansen and I love the Leo with big gun that feels similar to it. I’d still prefer a premium UDES 14/15 though.
This tank is not bad, but I find it has the scorpionG syndrome, fully aimed shots fall in the ground too often for a gun that is supposed to be accurate.
I stopped playing lansen C when CS-52 LIS was released. The later one is just more competitive in every situation except one, when the 3 degree extra gun depression makes a difference.

Picked up this tank yesterday and I absolutely love it. I am by no means the best player in the game, but I personally feel like this isn't a hard vehicle to play well.
I played with you yesterday in the first map of this video, im sorry for do suicide play i was very bored because stock tank and bad decisions VZ stock tank is a pain to play x) hope to see you more times in better circunstances :p
It's a good crew trainer and that's about it, the gun dispersion is terrible in general, especially beyond medium range
I lave playing tier 7 leo and this tank is like leo with a better gun. Hard to play but rewarding

My favorite tier VIII by far.
Weird. I remember the game on lakeville where i was sniping a bit and of 16 shots fired i hit like 6 and penned one. It was like all enemies having energy shield or I hit worst part of armor. I had a few very nice games where I loved this tank and then times when gun was like ... do you have/know tanks such as Concept1B or E75ts where gun can be absolutely awful despite whatever is on paper?
But I would say that sometimes I can't get agreement with friends/colleagues about certain tanks. For me KunzePanzer is better than CharFutur. And in some weird way I like both. They do not fit my playstyle and they teach me patience and careful planning. But Kunze is somewhat fun and challenging, Char is just challenging, maybe rewarding, but never fun to play.
I don't play well with this tank, but I'm enjoying it a lot anyway :D
Inexperienced players in the Larsen C almost always bury themselves in the back of the map and wait until a lot of damage has already been dealt and STAY there if they’re really bad. The more experienced play moderately better and know to go after tanks like damaged mediums. But the BOZOs ride out in the open and chase down the heavies that blast them back to the garage for our entertainment.
The gun of this thing only works short to medium range. Long range it's pretty weak because of low shell velocity, poor accuracy and low penetration. And since gameplay on the Hong Kong server is in my view way more passive and hull-down than on the EU server (I have accounts on both servers), this Lansen C is simply not up to the job against the likes of a CS-52 LIS, etc.
Any chance to get the 3D skin without buying the full price for the tank?
This beast managed to get me a lucky 7 kill game tho, defintely has no armour and I got very lucky as I am a hardcore tomato.
I wish the crew layout wasn't so off compared to the rest of the line
I absolutely hated this tank, mostly due to it's accuracy on longer range. It simply didn't hit the easiest shots for me, even though I was fully aimed.
Once you hit your shots, it's a pretty stable tank.

3D style is great but not that much for me to buy the tank again. And I think CS-52 Lis is better.

Sry Skill your verdict about the gun based on use if bond equipment and premium consumables 🥴. I used nothing of this and I sold the Lansen, no armor and insane bad gun handling...I recommend to play at least 1 game without the stuff and make a comparison between theses configurations.

CS has better armor and gun handling, but Lansen has better dpm, camo, and gun depression. Lansen was one of the first tanks I started to really try to play smart with when it was new.

It's not like the Object 252U/Defender or Skorpion/Skorpion G, just because the two tank has the same alpha doesnt make the the same. Btw gun wise i find them very similar, both tank either trolls the shit out of you with 20% hit rate or you hit every shot with them

How old is this review not as old as QB Japanese tank one done 2 days ago with type 5 showing 60 rounds when only 40 can be loaded in NA server tank ?
I feel like the udes 14 5 is better than this tank, the lancet is just Leo at tier 8
When I played wot, this tank consistently gave me good games. I could play robin to a tier 10 batman and almost always come out #1 on exp. A great all rounder.

Not gonna lie, this tank is not as good as you are portraying, the gun handling for a medium tank is awful and is comparable to a heavy tanks gun handling, the dispersion is pretty bad at 0.36, the aim time is awful with 2.4 seconds, it has good DPM but its only useful in close to medium range combat, the fact that wargaming classed this tank as a 'Sniper medium' is a disgrace, this thing can't hit shit with the size of the bloom and aim time at long range.
What mine bounced pen less is 162 at 500 bs wot rigged my account to lose, low roll 100% great wot poor gun out side circle ⭕️ rounds most of the time stopped playing it

Pha, for me, this shitty gun is treating me, like a big pile of brown anything, I hate the gunhandling and the tank.
This tank is obsolete in today's meta. The alpha damage and gun depression are nothing special like it was when it came out. It has one of the worst gun soft stats of any MT of its tier, and there isn't enough that can be done with crew skills and equipment to improve it. Save your money for a borat or Progetto.

There is nothing awesome on a LANSEN! Its thin like paper, so any auto-loader or arty sends you straigth away into the garage. The gun is very unreliabe and also not precise. Hence, you constantly missing shots, even in close distance (208mm pen but bouncer on a SU-130!!???). Along with that, the aimtime is drastically long. So, you need to aim, aim, aim - game over, enemy killed you already....Snap shots? Dont even think about it....Shoting one the move? Enemies never had a bigger laugh...
