Everybody is praising Brent for his vocals (how can't you!!) but without Zach's mastery on the accompaniment it's just another cover! What feel and vibe! UNREAL!!

I met them in a meet and greet here in baltimore... I looked brent dead in his eyes and told him he had the Absolute best voice in rock...he kind of snickered and said idk about that I abruptly said I do. And he looked at me...for an awkward second...and he smiled shook my hand and said nobody had ever said that to him with such conviction. The man is the best at what he does.

I met Brent and some of his local bandmates in Maryville,Tn many years ago,way before Shinedown. It was a "meet and greet" of informal nature by the pool at @ midnight.There may or may not have been blunts and cops involved....I won't elaborate any further lol.
That is exactly what I would tell him too, If I had the chance that you did! I truly believe he is the best most versatile melodic and powerful voices rock music has ever had. I listen to all of his songs and I've never thought any different than this. He's never failed my senses.

I love the fact that they are perfectly comfortable singing this after belting out a really heavy rock song. They just appreciate good music in any genre.

I cant sing to save my life but i use to belt this song sso loud & my dog would join in. Every time i put this song on hed just sing with me. He was hit by a car in july & i lost him but thanks to Bent & Myers i have that happy memory.

I was so glad to see that you guys covered this song. I play myself, very much an amateur, certainly not close to being in your league, but this is one of the songs I do. This is one of those songs I remember from my Early Childhood before I even really knew what music was about. This is one of those songs that defies genres.

By far the most versatile duo in the music industry. Vol 1&2 is my favorite album of all time. And I mean from any artist or performers from the past or present. I prefer their versions over the originals. I hope you guys go back through the catalogs and put out even more from the masters available to you. Music business is a complicated business these days, and it was risky to attempt what you all did here. But you pulled it off and I think the original artists should be proud of what you have done with it. Thank you and I really hope to see more from you guys.
This is my favorite music ever recorded too. It's crystal clear as freshly frozen ice. It rings in ethereal frequencies. It evoked metaphors like this.

The best thing about this, from a personal pov, is that i grew up on a very healthy meal of rock and metal through the 80s and 90s and its still my 'thing' today wiith bands like Shinedown. halestorm etc, my mum was a Mod in the 60s in the UK, all the scooters n stuff, her 'thing' is Motown, Northern Soul etc. I might get her into Shinedown yet! She does like the foo fighters lol.
