This is a HUGE house yet they only have 2 bedrooms!! I've seen where they have a pool room in the basement and an attic yet the boys still cram into one bedroom all their lives!!

I guess they wanted to show the audience they lived modestly. I do miss all of the Nelson family and when David died I cried for all of them not being around anymore. Some how, they showed what family caring about each other meant for the standard way of life during the 50s and 60s. Some how it started to change in the 70s.

Ozzie was a genius. After his show ended I 1966 in 1973 he started ozzie girls about two college girls looking to rent rooms and since david and Ricky were married and moved away ozzie and harriet had rooms to rent
Unfornuniy ozzie got sick with cancer and died after one season. This new show would have lasted a long time too but ozzie died in June 1975.

I miss these shows that had value and showed family wanting to help each other. Now a days they don't think about anyone but themselves. I loved the other shows especially "Father Knows Best."
