damn wish id found this sooner i started printing a sheath for different master sword file this one looks much better😡😡😡
i'm having a bit of trouble connecting the blade parts together, the fit is to tight for them join.
i have that exact problem. =/
@brayanmorales4737 beginning to think it could be the filament I'm using, which is PLA silk filament, only time I can get them to fit is when i scale down the blades by 1% for each part but doing that would make them look mismatched. Have tried the loose fit ones and still having trouble with those.

I have printed the cross guards probably about 5 times now and they just don't fit together when I put the sword and the pommel. I have scaled them up to 105% and still no luck. I hate this model. not because it doesn't look baller, but because its almost impossible to print correctly

Is this more structurally sound than printing the hilt in one piece?
Very, the interconnected pieces allow the vibrations to disperse more evenly than one giant piece. Probably shouldn’t hit anything still. Its also easier to print too.

no but i would still recommend glueing the parts to be stronger

The tolerance for this print is pretty tight, I had to sand a few of the pieces but overall very nice 👌
How do you take them apart if the joints too tight, i pushed it too hard now it stucks.
@hoangdung7494 yeah I had that. I just took it slow and tried to take them out or if they broke I scrapped the part and reprinted and sanded
@@DisownedVT okay, it seems to be completely stucked. I might try some dish soap or cooking oil, i hope pla wont react to those.

How were you able to get the wrapping to print well, cause every time I try to print it, it gets ruined.
Why do that? Get some green fabric and actually wrap it for accuracy
