    So this whole time he wasn't involved much. So just proved that they were looking for rodgers to majority fix the problem

    Defensive coaches know offense because they have to to prepare for what there going against , I don't know why he wasn't more involved before.

    My feeling is Saleh did have a lot to do with the “ground and pound” Jets offense. Keep the ball out of Zach’s hands, when a lot of evidence that when Zach had to “let it rip”, the results were better. Too much MLF in his head for all 3 years. Saleh held back the passing game Hackett wanted to use. SO, not sure this is going to be a plus. Just talking points!

    I think no one was so involved with the offense last year because they couldn’t figure out how to rely on Zack

    well, we couldn't find a replacement for Hackett. Rogers is Co-Offensive coordinator now..

    Just let ARod run the offense.

    To me, the Jets running back room is the core of this offense. I'd love nothing more than to see the Jets running the ball down the opponents throats and throwing when they have to. Winning games 24-17, or 17-14 ain't sexy, but JETS WIN BABY!

  • @AlanAbrams

    Personally, I feel Hackett was forced on him. He didn't have the power to get rid of/replace him last year or during the current off season.

  • @DKBxJets
    @DKBxJets Před 28 dny +1

    He's tapping back in to what we saw either Year 1 or 2 it what with that CEO ability. As a defensive specialist he should be able to help reverse engineer a lethal offense ✈️

    I think Saleh wants more of the 49er's offence implemented this year. The free agents and draft kinda leans towards that. I guess we will find out as the year rolls on.

    • @ldcaesar7977
      @ldcaesar7977 Před 28 dny

      Their moves don't suggest their leaning towards the SF offense at all. SF is a ZBS scheme and the Jets picked up 3 starting OLineman in Smith, Simpson, and Morgan who are all gap scheme guys.
      Both teams may lean on the run but the way each will do it is going to be different. 49ers are going to finesse around you while the Jets are going to power through you.

    But we all said it was Zach's fault. Everyone was crying how bad Zach was. This video just highlights how bad everyting around Zach was and htat maybe it wan't all his fault. Zach was ruined, shellshocked, and finally scapegoated by the Jets. Although I agree he played badly I think anyone would. I mean after all the line allowed Rodgers to get sacked and injured on the 4th damn play LOL. Hopefully we are bette this year.

      Zach wilson never was deserving of that 2nd overall pick.. he did nothing in college to deserve getting picked that high. if it wasnt for covid season, where he played a weaker schedule than he otherwise wouldve have, he would likely have been a 2nd round pick. He played trash opponents. Jets didnt ruin him, the fact was that he (like darnold) was not that great to begin with.. Also it doesnt help that Woody is our owner

    • @harlanabraham7772
      @harlanabraham7772 Před 26 dny

    Who better to tell the offense what the opposing defense is trying to do then a defensive HC. Don't be surprised if the offense struggles the first few games. It takes time for an OL to gel. I just want to see the OL finally pickup a stunt or blitz.

    might be a reach but rex ryan is a name that comes to mind as far as people saleh has reached out to hence the new “power” scheme being put into the offense. very 2011 vibes

  • @georgewodicka4839

    Yes, Saleh will be involved. He is the new co-co offensive coordinator, third on the depth chart behind #1 Rodgers and #2 Hackett. And I'm fine with that, THIS season.

      Rex ryan couldnt develop the young guys.. he never played the jets draft picks.. he loved veterans. Saleh is much better at player development.. and will play the young guys. also his scheme isnt dependant on having a lockdown corner like darelle revis.. saleh could lose sauce, and i think this defense would still produce

    I feel like this is a negative take! If you believe in Saleh, you have to believe he will have a modest and positive impact on the offense. A year ago the o-line was injured and poor. They seemingly have solved that. There also an issue at wide receiver.You’re staking last years performance on offense as something to define this year’s offense.

    • @eddielindnal102
      @eddielindnal102 Před 28 dny

      Jake Asmen and Cimini are objective on their opinions, but your last video seemed really negative. When you discuss last year’s offensive issues, you are assuming that these are the same issues, but they shouldn’t be.

    Why does Salah get involved now, when the team is in a better position than ever in the last 5 years. He should stay out of the way and let us see who Hackett and Rodgers are. Last year was when he should have been more involved....let Rogers be Rodgers and get out of Rodger's and Hacketts way. If they fail, Salah will be blamed, not Hackett or Rodgers.

    It’ll be much different with Rodgers under center. “Zach” and “leading” shouldn’t even be uttered in a sentence. Zach had an attitude and accountability problem. Idc if he apologized to teammates. He still said what he said. Any other team would’ve traded their QB first thing after they have an answer like Zach did after that one press conference
