JIBBER JABBER - Race to the Red Planet

Captain Jib and Commander Jab blast off in a race to be the first astronauts to land on the planet Mars. Upon landing, they find out intelligent life really does exist or is it? With proof in hand, the race back to Earth suddenly shifts into a toxic re-entry.

The stop-motion style CG will most certianly not suit everyone's eyes, but at least I can say that it looked cool
It also kinda sucked that the show was merely burned off in four months towards the end of 2007

Phineas and Ferb started about a month before Jibber Jabber, but in any case, I think this much more resembles Calvin and Hobbes - the plot here is particularly reminiscent of Calvin's adventures as 'Spaceman Spiff'.
