Introduction
CJC-1295 is one of the most promising peptides today. Peptides are small amino acid chains similar to proteins. CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone that increases the growth hormone and IGF (Insulin-like growth factor) in animals and humans. CJC-1295 can be considered a long-lasting hGRF (human Growth Hormone Releasing Factor) analog because the hGRF-albumin conjugate interacts with and activates GRF receptors in the anterior pituitary in rats to produce high GH in plasma (Jetté et al. 2005). It may improve sleep and memory retention. It also has the potential to boost energy and immune function (CJC 1295 Peptide Therapy Fort Lauderdale | Low Libido Treatment, n.d.). CJC-1295 is usually compounded with an equal amount of ipamorelin. CJC-1295 acts as a long-term trigger and ipamorelin as a short-term trigger, which results in a steady release of GH (CJC-1295 Benefits and Side Effects | Invigor Medical, n.d.).
Future Research
Human studies are necessary to explore how CJC-1295 behaves in the human body and within different cell groups.
Many theorized benefits of CJC-1295 based on animal studies need to be explored in human studies.
