- Making wooden flowers for the first time! I made these out of pine 2x2's, but they could be made from any type of wood.
I think they turned out beautiful!
These flowers will last forever too, they will never wilt and die, and they don't even need water!!

Here's some more ... lovely ! beautiful ! wow ! I'm out of breath just now so Keep 'em coming and Big Thanks for sharing these !! Take care. -Mike
p.s. really brightened up my day !!
So happy that I could brighten your day! I didn't think up this idea though, I copied it from someone else. I just didn't do any measuring to make it a perfect flower. But how many flowers are perfect anyway 🌹? Lol
Thanks for watching ❤️
@@spiritwynd I really like the concept !! I also thought of a few different ways to try. One was - an open petal form is what I was originally thinking of when I did my Koa walking stick.
Nice job Heather. I love making flowers. There's so many different ways. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks! I need to try a few ways to make flowers. I tried making the cushion looking flowers, but just wasn't satisfied with how they looked. I'll have to keep trying!
Thanks for watching ❤️
Now that looked like a lot of fun Heather. And the flowers look great in your vase. I know somebody who just love to have some.
Very nice work.
Take care,
Gary
I really like how they turned out too! I didn't bother to do exact measurements when marking out the petal shapes, when cutting on the bandsaw, which gives the petals different shapes and lengths. But that just makes every flower unique!
Thanks for watching!
great work gal xxxxxx
Thanks Mark♥️
Awesome flowers. Thanks for the idea Heather. Good luck in your booth.
Thanks Clint! Unfortunately it wasn't advertised very well. But, at least I made enough to cover my cost, and I have a commission for a mushroom 🍄 box!😃
Pretty clever, Heather! Very colorful and unique. I'm sure they sell easily!
Phil
Thank you Phil! Yes, everyone, of all ages, loved them!
Thanks for watching ❤️
They look great!
Good luck at the sale!
Thanks! But the sale was a flop for everyone there. It wasn't advertised, so very few people came out
@@spiritwynd sorry to hear that😞
@@spindlesworkshop9744 well, at least I made enough to pay for the space. 🤷♀️ And it's always good to socialize with other crafters
@@spiritwynd true
Very nicely done Heather.
Thanks Doug!
