It's super interesting how the "meta" isn't about which characters are good, it's more about making sure your speed and Mini-turbo Sum adds up to (or at least gets close to) 26, and any stats beyond that are purely preferential, meaning there's way more room for personal customization and build innovation. It's fascinating

@fading-_- 26 is the max number of the sum of speed and mini-turbo stats you can reach with any character/vehicle combinations. A lot of the most popular combos reach this threshold, such as yoshi/Teddy Buggy (8 speed/18 Mini-turbo)

I'm pretty sure the red shells are targeting you, it's just that they hit obstacles before they hit you. I think one hit either a banana or a pipe (14:14) and the other hit a spin booster (14:49).

also im pretty sure when they first get thrown they arent locked onto a specific player so if youre close enough you'll still get the warning for a split second before it targets someone else

I gotta be honest, I’ve been using Landship and Streetle before the buffs. They were always good enough to be in the meta on any middleweight. They were just underrated at the time and they’re even better now 💯👍🏽

14:48 - I think the red turtle shell broke / ran into the spin boost in the middle of the road. That's why it likely didn't reach you.

Tanooki cart is really good, I like using daisy, birdo, and kamek with the city tripper azure rollers and mktv or cloud glider, it’s really really good

I use basically that same combo as Daisy, but city tripper and paper glider. No amount of invincibility keeps me from getting Mario karted, so I don't concern myself with it. :P

I need to ask, how is the state of Inward drift bikes? I was thinking about making a change that would mostly benefit them. That being the mini turbo build up duration.
I was thinking about completely neutralizing the turbo build up duration for almost all vehicles (as in like the mini turbo stat doesn’t affect it) and have inward bikes exclusively to have a faster build up at about 20% or 30% faster build up.
