Joshua Jean-Baptiste:
Joshua Jean-Baptiste is the co-creator of #JOSH and a Miami native of Haitian Decent. He graduated from New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting. In tandem with his Colleague Edson Jean, he has appeared in the HBO selected short film "The Adventures of Edson".
He began his writing career producing shows in local theaters. With the support of the community he has created and performed a numerous amount of work aimed at enhancing Miami's cultural relevance.
Edson Jean:
Since falling from the whom of New World School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Theatre (acting) Haitian-American Edson wrote, directed and starred in The Adventures of Edson Jean(2013), which aired on HBO/HBOGO. As an actor, he can be seen in Barry Jenkin’s Feature Moonlight, HBO’s Ballers and in the Netflix original Bloodline. Alongside local artist, Joshua Jean‐Baptiste, Edson seeks to color the multi-media canvas with the rich yet complex characteristics of the Haitian-American Culture.

Looks to be an amazing production to really set Miami forward in the film industry !! I do hope to see some more about the female characters as well, the trailer seems to be portraying women as conquests (seemingly). But you can't judge a book by it's cover, and I am happy to see the real Miami reaching the industry!
Congrats on winning Project Greenlight. This show looks really interesting. I am an actress and I would love to be apart of the show. I have lived in Miami for 30 years.
