Oh, good.. you keep believing there. They have nothing to do with eclipses. Last few hundred NY earthquakes were not near an eclipse. Cherry-picking much? Taiwan, for instance, had 3 earthquakes in 2022, and a much bigger one in 1999. We have eclipses about once every 177 days. So every six-ish months or so. In other words EVERYTHING should always happen with 3 months of an eclipse -- literally EVERYTHING.
Unfortunately April is one of the cloudiest months of the year, so make sure your plans are flexible. In 2017 we changed our travel plans to Charleston, SC due to weather reports. We headed to Greenville instead. So glad we did that, we had perfect skies. The clouds over Charleston disappointed a lot of people.
Houston’s not in the path. You should consider traveling to Waco or Killeen since you’re so close tho. Even at 94% coverage where you’re at it’ll still be bright as day at maximum eclipse.
What is most fascinating about this eclipse is the timing and also the involvement of comets 12P Pons-Brooks. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled according to the time indicated by God!

We totally missed this one because of a massive thunderstorm that happened at the EXACT moment of the eclipse, it stormed all the way through it, and stopped at the EXACT moment it was supposed to end, this sounds silly, but it's true. Hopefully we can see the one in 2024.
Also further more, you must try to get as close to the center line of the Path Of Totality if it’s possible since the Solar Eclipse lasts longer right there once Totality starts.
