    • @The_Real_Devil
      @The_Real_Devil Před 9 lety +1

      Lex Parsimoniae Surely that's a double bluff though. Telling you they're happy about it is only going to damage Corbyn's campaign, resulting in the candidate they're "happy" with losing. So unless they're complete morons, it's a double bluff.

    • @ancylostomiasis
      @ancylostomiasis Před 9 lety +1

      The Devil One way or the other, you'll need a labour that can actually win elections. I agree with Kendall: we need an antidote to the Tories.

    • @The_Real_Devil
      @The_Real_Devil Před 9 lety

      Lex Parsimoniae And it's an utter myth, based on zero evidence and propagated by fear-mongering Blairites, that this wouldn't be the case under Corbyn. Labour need to bring back the people who left during Blair's steady shift to the right between 1997 and 2010. Kendall is exactly what people don't want (a red Tory) and that's reflected in her polling miles behind the other 3 candidates. She's the closest thing in the party to the Tories, so I wouldn't call her an antidote. If people want a Tory, they'll vote for the Tories.

    I love the Fox News methods here. 'Many say', 'Some people say', "One senior figure said to me". Name names. If Corbyn becomes leader by popular vote, then he is the most senior figure. It's obvious by the tone of this report that the establishment wants austerity against the weak and not Jeremy Corbyn. The establishment should fund the BBC and not the working people.

He's the one living in the past... The Tories have once again, like in the 80/90s forced Labour's hand & at LAST it looks like Corbyn is going to be the antidote... The next election will define the UK - does it want elites stealing everyone's money whilst blaming the disabled & immigrants, or does it desire a fairer & more compassionate society!

Politics runs in cycles and people a getting wise to the Thatcher legacy and seeing that ordinary people have lost out... No secure jobs, wages fallen against inflation, no homes to rent, high rents, no prospect of owning a home, expensive privatised services, prohibitive education costs, afraid that health care will be inaccessible. People are beginning to see that life in Britain before Thatcher and Blair was actually a whole lot better with Unions and real Labour governments looking out for ordinary people.
