- The Republican National Convention kicks off Monday, July 15, in Milwaukee against the backdrop of an apparent assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump this weekend. PBS News will have gavel-to-gavel special coverage each day of the convention, with a continuous stream from the main floor.
The stream for Monday begins at 1:00 p.m. EDT. PBS News will have special coverage starting at 8 p.m. EDT.

I was upset by a comment from Amna Nawaz after President Trump entered the house, after the song, when the crowd began chanting. Nawaz commented, "The FIRST thing the crowd chanted was fight, fight." When the fact is the first thing the crowd chanted was USA, USA!! Why can't reporters be truthful! Why can't they be responsible with their words! Reporters are very guilty of stirring up the people with their misleading, emotional and/or untruthful comments.
Please dear fellow citizens see with your own eyes, hear with your own ears, think with your own brains. Do not be swayed by people preaching a false narrative from any side. Let's try to move to unity as both President Biden and President Trump are voicing. God bless America!

Forty out of forty four Trump cabinet members refuse to endorse him. Many of his own appointees have called him a threat to democracy. Republican Congressmen have resigned due to MAGA. It's the "left" though.

It shows that he doesn’t pick ultra loyal follows from the begin, and that people can change, and that it addresses the public desire for wanting younger and more in touch figure’s in government.
