[Instructional Book] Paracord Fusion Ties Volume 1: amzn.to/2VR8Arl
The Marble Lantern Knot (MLK) is an interesting expansion of the 2-Strand Diamond Knot. Providing a larger central basket and modified weave, the MLK provides the opportunity for a marble to be placed within its center. Give it a tie, let me know your thoughts. Video Production by J.D. Lenzen of Tying It All Together.

This is so cool. A Glass eye in the center instead of a marble would be awesome, but that's just the way my brain is wired.LOL

This is nice and spiffy. Fantasy buffs can use this in costuming, it has a medieval look to it.

The tie reminded me of a Bousan's Lanyard Knot. It has a very interesting look and I will have to give it a try soon. Thanks for sharing your talent.

TyingItAllTogether Any idea what length I should use if I wanted to make this into a necklace? Also, how sturdy is the marble inside the knot? I'm wondering if I should do another one instead if this one doesn't hold the marble too well, but I'm not really big into knotting so I just needed something easy. Thank you!

How do you get the marble to stay in the lantern part? Every time I try to tighten it slips right out. It is confusing me a great bit.

    From Spain:
I enjoy watching your videos and make bracelets for my friends and family. I try to find a suitable replacement of paracord in Spain because I have not tested with different types comprarlo.he cord and materials, but the result is not so good. at the end I bought a few feet over the Internet in a UK store but adding to the price of paracord and shipping is very expensive for me. Any suggestions? thanks again and greetings from Spain

just bring the two extra strands as your strings, and either put a clasp on the ends, or tie them into a ball and loop. I'm sure you could adjust the knot to get rid of the loop If you don't want it.
