I find that the stainless steel pins get inside of the primer pocket as well as inside of the case to clean out all of the carbon. That's why I use them. I have tumbled with and without and I think tumbling with them does a better job. But to each his own.
Ha ha. She actually came and had to clean off the counters while I was running the water from my brass. I said nobody's going to care. But she said I care. She puts up with a lot of crap from me frankly.
using southern shine stainless steal chips eliminates having to check for stuck pins....

I have the original FART machine and I only run it for 90 minutes, max. I don't use any SS pins. It's not necessary.
