+Jackson Pickens Its not so hard to write emotional, meaningful lyrics for me. The hard part is coming up with the melodies and the actual delivery of the vocals for me.
"Developments is based around the idea of a photographic darkroom-it takes darkness and careful treatment to develop an image. In the same way I feel like dark times, and the patience and optimism to see them through, are the only way we can retain memories and learn from our experiences. For me it's a justification of difficult times as perspective to better understand and appreciate our present as part of a whole."
That's the meaning they gave. So, i'm guessing the pictures have to do with the "photographic darkroom" and all of that.

I don't think I've met one person yet that has heard of these guys and hates them or doesn't like them. They never ever fail to please everyone and I am so proud to say that these guys play a massive part in my life.

Haunting lyrics, legit might have to get these tattoo'd on me, describing the process of developing a photo, something that captures memories and whether the picture you've taken will accurately depict how that memory is projected in your mind and how it made you feel at the time, as humans if we don't have memories then what is left for us to keep?
i remembered when i first heard this almost 10 years ago, and it hasn't changed after all this time.
There has yet to be a band half as talented as HLH who have taken a rather boring and lifeless genre and have given it new life, new blood... Developments was my favorite song on Unimagine, and this version totally does it justice. It's a shame that it took as long as it did for this genre to become revitalized, and they outdo themselves every time. Just when I think that Developments couldn't sound MORE beautiful... They pull this. Astounding, captivating, and breathtaking...

HopeEsleim1101 thanks hope. i feel the same way. i interpret other songs lyrics in different ways they are intended though i know the true intention just because they can relate to somthing else in life that the normal intention didnt while still being the same lyrics.
