When I would wrestle with my brothers growing up, I just could never beat them, so I bit a little once to get out of being turned into a human pretzel. I was immediately kicked out and made the announcer. I had to sing their walkout songs and announce their stats and be the ref.

Why MMA athletes has a lot of infections?

Basically. But even if they try to keep it clean as possible, still there’s like 100 different people sweating and rolling around in it. Constantly touching each other, etc. It’s humid from all the body heat, just a perfect scenario for bacteria
Also from the weight cuts, basically crashing your entire immune system to cut the weight. All the skin to skin contact and sweat in the gym is a big problem thou, you could never make it 100% clean
I think his mouth guard was falling out in that particular position and he was trying to re adjust it but because of the position instead of biting on his mouth guard to be put back in place he got his skin instead.

This is why you shouldn’t fight with staph not only are you endangering yourself, you’re endangering others
Don’t think you realize how antibiotics work. When they give you them and you have them in your system for 24 hours the staph isn’t infectious. I had it on my forehead just like BSD from wrestling and they said once I took the pill it wasn’t infectious anymore.

I know biting your opponent is a grimy thing to do, but I can't help but feel bad for Igor Severino. He literally had his dream in the palm of his hand, and in an instant, "POOF!" it's all gone and there's no way back.
Actions have consequences. This isn’t a street fight.

Luckily for most of us, it's not at the worst posible time. For Igor, it was. Does he deserve to punished? Absolutely. Did Dana or anyone else treat him unfairly or go too far? Nope. That doesn't mean I don't feel bad for the kid. Everything he's worked for is gone because of a stupid 2 second decision. I think it's the fact that there is no way back for him. We all make mistakes but 99% of the time we can redeem ourselves and get back to where we were. Once Dana fires you, you are not getting back to the UFC. He may get in to Bellator, or PFL, maybe One but the dream of being a UFC champ went from possible to unobtainable in an instant. For him, that's like going to sleep, having a nightmare and not being able to wake up. So yea, I feel bad for him but kind of like an correctional officer feels bad for someone with a life sentence. If that makes any sense.
